I think I forget to tell you about my terrific Tuesday. Rained heavily and was then cold, wet and miserable but I did get into the yard and finally moved 5 buckets of soil into place, planted out 2 packs of broad bean seeds (yay growing things), moved mum's clematis back against the fence from it's holiday home (large bucket). Stapled the bottom of the plastic mesh I put up a while ago - lengths had already been cut to size and I had stapled them at the top and middle but doing top middle bottom back to top made me dizzy. Gathered 6 remnants of mesh and used them to do an extra fence panel.
Took down two artificial foliage panels and 3 lots of plastic flowers, gathered handfuls of discarded plastic leaves, put another bucket of 'chippings' and 2 larger chunks from the tree stump, two bins out for collection. Threw away a 'lipstick' and a pen that ran out of ink.
Grateful for panda hat, take it out of the freezer and bung it in the microwave food, intensive moisturising in the morning.
Today is mum's blood test appointment and I am ridiculously excited at the thought of getting in a taxi and an outing to the infirmary. Not so thrilled that mum has decided we can drop off her hearing aids to have them retubed (they still aren't doing in house fittings) and bothered that I still haven't found the paperwork (may have to phone for more to be printed). Been awake since 6 am and already have full carrier bags of card, cans and rubbish (chopped some bits off my hair) and done another chunk of transcribing important bits from old to new password book.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -
Good morning here, second day in bed with a sinus headache, had a test, just because. Hope I get the result before hair appointment tomorrow.
I feel I am loosing momentum, I feel I keep kicking myself back to square 2(so not quite back to the beginning) I try to stay positive and focussed but as soon as I am ready to get on with things - I just switch off! OR get ill.
Any how I will need to set more smaller step by step targets so will get on with that later, not the best day with a smashing headache.
Grateful for lovely young man who handed in his coursework on time(all produced super last minute) cooking me a lovely dinner last night and. Grateful for the entertainment value of neighbours cat - it is constantly meowing outside of somebody else's house, including mine. When I came back from my test it jumped into the car, then it bolted into the house with me when I came in, right under the dogs nose - it took her a few seconds to respond, and she's not a cat lover - it took a few minutes to then trick the cat into the garden, he was hiding under my dining room table! Very naughty cat - it then spent 15 min parading on the fence and teasing my dog! But entertaining.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Himself didn't get out of bed early enough to go for a walk. Probably just as well. It rained again! I really do need to start getting out, though. This is not healthy.

Sorry that I have been AWOL.
2nd NSD today. Have dealt with a couple of frogs in the last few days. Worked on Saturday and on Bank holiday Monday. Heard that I will be working at my current job/location until 11th June. Just waiting for my shifts to be added onto my rota.
Grateful for:
Having a decent night's sleep.
Work being more manageable this afternoon after a busy morning.
Getting home in time before rain.

NSD 4 here, busy day at work but finally putting my foot down about a few things. Went for a swim first thing and a walk at lunchtime. Cancelled a physio appointment as I've got a pain clinic appointment soon.
Had a look at travel advice for Iceland as I booked a very specific tour in 2019 that isn't ATOL protected (lesson learned there!) So I kinda have to go this year or lose £500it's looking okay, just need a vaccine certificate, but I'm also okay with losing the money if things change.
Think I might cancel my health cash plan as haven't made enough use of it with Covid and don't foresee myself using it as much moving forwards.7 -
Today I am grateful for the raining only arriving at 4ish so that my lunch duty involved a bunch of contented kids chatting nicely and sitting in the sunshine, for getting some admin and planning done, for the roadworks not making me late for work, for my apple tree blossoming, for a good book, for a quick video call with big sis + niece.

Hope you're feeling better soon @ditty1234.
Still on nsd#3. After dropping hubby off at the hospital, I took mum to donate some blankets & toys she's made, to the local Women's Aid building. We then had our first rummage of the year in 3 charity shops. Had a brainwave after watching Sewing Bee last night, that I could buy some old wool blazers to make bears from. Found one that wasn't too expensive, a skirt & 2 wool jumpers. My friend runs one of the shops, she asked if I could use felted wool jumpers, as she'd put two in their rag bag. She is now going to save me any that are donated 😀
Did all the hand stitching on the bear I made yesterday, popped to the post office with yesterday's eboy sales & sorted out all the recycling ready for collectionUse it up, wear it out

Went with mum to her appointment, hopefully I've sorted two medication issues but didn't get the hearing aid repair or buy the padlock - will have to go to town to vote so may do it then. Be aware they are asking you to take your own pen or pencil for voting. Messaged DS3, he read the meters for me and I've submitted the readings. Also discussed drains, bin collections and cleaning. I need to make some phone calls in the next day or two (DS3 can email/ message but is having problems phoning people). Some bits of sorting/ tidying done (old notebook has gone out) and a little seed sowing this evening and dealing with a stubborn tree root.
Grateful for very easy food (dips, veg sticks, toast), getting the taxi home before the heavens opened, seeing patches of clear floor. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5
