Monday- NSD 6.
I feel like this month is a plodding sort of month for some reason, nothing seems to be happening, I have many ideas in my head but for various reasons can't turn them into actual plans and am vaguely frustrated.
It will all sort out and I just need patience!
Grateful today for DDs dad actually doing what he said he would, sorting out a timing problem (I can only be in 1 place at any given time, no matter how important the appointments are) and the sun coming out this afternoon.6 -
Morning Turtles,
I spent money yesterday on setting up things to look forward to. So not a spend day. Git back in touch with my yoga teacher and thinking of recommencing yoga and meditation with support again in June. It would be a hit on my debt repayment though. But I think I need the social support and realised that it may well have been feeling stuck in my relationship that was leading to my stuckness in my yoga practice. Overall it was quite a good day yesterday.
Gratitudes:
- university peers
- meals made, and ready to go
- space to myself

Still on NSD 2/15
Sun was out today so I went a walk during lunchtime, and then treated myself to an ice cream. Usually I’d only get myself a treat if getting for someone else. It took my NSD away but it was worth it. 😂
Disappointing news today - the job panel didn’t upgrade my role/salary. Apparently they came back with a downgrade(!) which was overruled by my manager. The outcome has really surprised me. I’m going to make some enquiries about it because I got no feedback other than the decision.
Grateful for a sunny day, a good walk, fresh air, an ice cream, and OH making dinner.

Today I am grateful for having a car, for sitting myself down to just get on with schoolwork and an article I'd said I would write weeks ago, for tinterweb to research stuff I need to know about to be able to teach it (!), for dd having a decent day, for warm sunshine.

Its been a long day today. Students seem to be out of kilter completely and we can't identify why. Doesn't make for a pleasant atmosphere though and must be upsetting for the ones that are already struggling with mental health. (sadly many are at the moment) The local food bank emailed today as they'd had a huge delivery of pizzas that they couldn't actually accommodate so its pizza for breakfast club tomorrow and probably enough for several more occasions. There must be at least 60, they also sent us lots of fruit so we can produce something approximating a balanced mealMortgage Free 23 December 2020

Today was a good day - no horrid menthol lems1ps needed for the hay fever induced sinusitis (I feel your pain @ditty1234 ) they are brilliant by the way, taste awful, but they do the job. I only bought ys bargains on the way back from the school run, then volunteered, and sat in my car reading my book in the pounding rain, so I was not even tempted to go out and window shop as I had left my coat at home, and not even a cup of frothy coffee was worth getting that wet for. I do not think I have bought a coffee in 2 years now, but I did get asked out for a coffee next week ! - not a romantic date, a 5-years-of-standing-together-at-the-school-gates mum coffee date next week when we can sit inside if it is raining, or outside if not. Our smallest boys are all going off to big school this September and there will be no more gossiping or school run pickups for her. End of an era.People have experienced very different lockdowns, and we are going to have to acknowledge that as we start to come out of it, and be kind. So NSD 6 for me please.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Mum had a good phone appointment with one of the neurologist's underlings, but forgot to ask about her pills (I was sat next to her shouting 'pills' at her). Will wait a week before phoning as I think they will send them automatically. Went outside and emptied the 8 buckets of soil into the raised bed and then a larger tub that was nearby. Then it went grey and rained off and on most of the day. Filled the brown bin (quick walk round the garden) and put it out for collection. Use ups for lunch and tea.
A spend day because mum wants a load of plastic tat for her grotty. I have spent £21.39 on miscellaneous items but hoping I can do a few more days before a proper food shop. I will be going into town on Thursday to put money in my bank and buy my puzzle book so may anything urgent then - we have run out/ are running out of several things but think we can substitute for most of them. had a short walk outside, sat down once going and times coming back.
Grateful for getting the raised bed filled before the downpour, delicious meals from not very much and Torchwood. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage4 -
