NSD 2/15 today.
I had a good busy day at work, picked up DS from nursery, sorted him out with some snacks, walked to and from his sports class which started back after a year in lockdown, made him dinner and prepped ours. OH home now and finishing making the dinner. I’m now wabbit and a bit spaced out so sorry for this very short update. Hope all turtles have had a decent day. x

@Toni'sfriend I love train travel. It’s one of the best ways to see different countries in my opinion. OH and I have done the Trans-Siberian (Moscow to Beijing) and a few other big journeys in Asia and the US. I would also love to do parts of Europe too. Lockdown aside, travel is one of the main reasons I try to live frugal! ❤️NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸6

Been awol this weekend doing marking and work things on Saturday. Not that there were many other options with the weather. Then yesterday we took some spare enormous ferns and some iris corms to friends and sat and had tea and goodies from their local little home bakery n the sun in their garden.
Today I'm grateful for a nice easy dinner (made dirty wedges with lots of peppers, onions, chilli and sweetcorn and just a smidge of chorizo) for a nice morning spent in friends sunny garden yesterday and for 20p l*dl tulips.Mortgage Free 23 December 2020

Sunny first thing but then clouded over. Have moved some soil in between downpours. Only using the small 10 l planters but moved 3 one at a time, then 6 on the trolley and then 8. Currently have 8 on the trolley but not enough strength to empty them, another 4 filled where I'm digging out.
Long conversation with ex this afternoon - he's in hospital but should be out tomorrow, must have run out of people to phone.
Niece phoned after tea and came round an hour later - my baby brother has been having problems with swollen ankles and legs. She took him to his doctor's this morning, they checked his legs, then his chest (he has COPD amongst other things). They put him on oxygen immediately and phoned for the emergency ambulance. Currently in A & E on a nebuliser. Niece should ahve an update tomorrow (he should be being moved onto a ward). Offered to do doggy daycare if required - dog is used to being with brother all the time (technically he's the niece's dog). She is hoping he doesn't wake her in the middle of the night for walkies as brother has been taking him out at 3 am.
Grateful for getting things done slowly, lovely leftovers, that brother is getting treatment. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -
Today I am grateful for working with some great people, for the traffic + roadworks traffic lights not taking too long, for still having a few daft daffs blooming away totally unaware that they have outlasted the tulips, for the apple blossom, for a good book.

Evening turtles. NSD number 6 here. Did some pilates this morning and swimming tonight. No walk as feeling lazy and it was very windy at lunchtime! Ate healthy, hopefully will sleep well now too. Foot still sore, a nice bruise coming out but should be better soon I'm sure.
Grateful for getting through Monday, a nice swim and cuddles with bunnies.5 -
Hope your brother improves soon Mothernerd. Icc, glad your foot is healing.
Another nsd here. A good day back at work, the pupils were pleased to see me & the staff said some lovely things & happy that I've returned.
Cut out parts for another bear when I got home. Quite cold this evening, so I lit a fire, then did a little bit of knitting & watched TV. Will need to go to bed soon, I'm shattered!
Grateful for middle son catching the bus to & from college, (didn't miss it & no lost return ticket 😊), a warm fire, great colleagues, pupils smiles & hubby getting on OK at the hospital with his new travel arrangements, etcUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
