Certainly do-able if you always reply, every time, on the last day.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@Coupon-mad Please would you mind looking at my possible delay responses?
@Redx Only reason I would delay SAR is to give me an opportunity to delay my responses, as @Coupon-mad recommends me to do. To be clear, I did not read into this that delaying SAR would delay legal action, but @Coupon-mad suggests delaying responses to DCBL, which would delay progress of the claim
AS @Coupon-mad, recommends delaying the different name scenario, I think it best not to send a marriage certificate to the UKPC. Do you think UKPC and DCBL share information? if I flag to UKPC that my name has changed, would they inform DCBL do you think?
There is no email on any correspondence, or on contact us, but spotted team page with staff email addresses so I will email the Operations Director and post a letter. Once I get a response via email I can use only that to communicate
Re landowner, probably would have to name daughter at some point if they need documentation I would send the DCBL notices0 -
The delaying tactics are an excellent idea , so follow the advice by coupon mad !!
Informing UKPC of the changes and asking them to inform their legal contractors is a good idea
What you don't want is a court claim preceding the SAR request , due to the 30 days reply time , it's a balancing act
I would not be giving either party a copy of the marriage certificate because it's data they are not entitled to , but you can state it will be produced in Court if required

Really bowled over by all the help.
I will email the landowner's managing agent
I will email DCBL as recommended before 28 day deadline
I will then send the SAR
Then wait

Yes, just forget telling anyone about your new name yet because that gives you another delaying bullet for later on. This will tie them up for some time.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

In respect of your suggested strategy to stall DCBL, should I send the email from my maiden name (which PCN is sent to) or my new married name? I kept both email addresses
If you remember, I will be writing to them nearer November in the realisation that they have my wrong name. I am assuming it would be best using my maiden name to send the email from

I would use the name they already have. Leave any option to cause a delay, by notifying a change of name, to later on in the process, if necessary.Leatham said:@Coupon-mad

TIAPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

@Leatham, I second @Redx's advice about not giving a copy of the marriage certificate until court - it has data on there that isn't relevant to the PPC and their scamlicitor that they could misuse (from looking at my own, it's got the names of myself, my father, my spouse and her father, as well the signatures for us and our witnesses).Redx said:The delaying tactics are an excellent idea , so follow the advice by coupon mad !!

I agree, use your maiden name ideally unless and until you get a LBC, then give them your married name (with proof such as a heavily redacted marriage certificate to only show the registrar's authority and your new name) and insist they send a LBC in accordance with the CPR in your married name. Then when you receive that send as late as possible the standard response, I deny the debt, seeking debt advice, cease action for 30 days.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
