Notice of Debt Recovery Letter but not driving

You may have seen this on one of my other threads, but started a new thread so not to confuse anyone. As some of you know, we have been inundated with these letters, coming out of the woodwork from years back
I have received two Notice of Debt Recovery Letters relating to a PCN for my daughter's car in Nov 2015, when she parked outside her place of work in a retail park. I was the registered keeper of that vehicle at the time.
They never asked if I was driving it at the time
Taking advice from here, I ignored it. Heard nothing since
Should I also send a SAR to UKPC? or would this serve as an admission I was driving it?
TIA

I am confused, why do you need two threads or the same PCN?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Different PCN ....had so many letters and PCNs!!0

The advice on here in 2015 was to appeal it , not ignore it !! Been that way since march 2013 , after POFA arrived the previous year
Debt collector letters can be ignored , but if UKPC complied with POFA then you may be liable as keeper
This PCN times out in November of this year , hence the last ditch attempts at payment2 -
This relates to Debt Recovery Letter, not a LBC.. not at that stage ....yet
UKPC complied with POFA...how would I know if they complied? Would they have sent something out (they didn't)

how would I know if they complied?
You would read the newbies, and perhaps do some research. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -
How could UKPC possibly jump to that conclusion?Leatham said:Should I also send a SAR to UKPC? or would this serve as an admission I was driving it?
You have been sent a letter because you are the Registered Keeper of the vehicle.
Of course you can send a Subject Access Request to UKPC. Of course that is no where near any sort of admission of who was driving.
Is the vehicle's Registration Document (V5c) correct?
Have you changed address since the alleged parking event?3 -
UKPC would have posted an NTK PCN to the registered keeper within the first 6 monthsLeatham said:This relates to Debt Recovery Letter, not a LBC.. not at that stage ....yet
UKPC complied with POFA...how would I know if they complied? Would they have sent something out (they didn't)You check that NTK PCN against POFA , for compliance or non compliance
The newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum tells you all about it and has done for 8 years
If you do not have the ntk , the SAR reply will get you a copy
You have absolutely no idea what UKPC have posted or sent out , the SAR will reveal that data2 -

This is a minefield for those unskilled and inexperienced in this area. I can read the newbies 100 times and still have questions. I have spent hours on this forum, doing research. If I understood what I was reading, I wouldn't be asking the question. Surely this is the point of being able to ask questions on here?
I was registered keeper so I understand why they wrote to me. But should they have then sent a form to ask if I was driving the vehicle?

The ntk would have done so with a tear off slip to name the driver , they always doLeatham said:@D_P_Dance

If you obtain and read the ntk , all will be revealed
Your lack of paperwork is the missing link to enlightenment3
