UKPC photographic evidence

Hello everyone,

Thanks for the time to read and help with the following thread.

Recently I got a letter from dcbl for the recovery of debt that I didn't hear or knew about from 09.2016.

I looked at the photographic evidence on UKPC website of an alleged contravention and it shows my vehicle entering afternoon and leaving the next day morning despite the fact that I have never ever left my car overnight on that car park. Car park has a free 3h time limit to stay. I used to use it when was visiting nearby gym for no longer than 2h a day.
Don't understand why they camera doesn't registered me entering the next day morning or leaving the previous day? The P&D machine was often broken so I could not type reg in on exit.

It is obviously too late for an appeal to the penalty charge and to acquire any cctv footage of me (NOT) being parked overnight there. How do I address this situation please?

Many thanks

So missing pictures and a sc#m called double dipping , read about it on the parking prankster website

You didn't tell us which half of dcbl issued the letter , ltd or legal ltd , debt collector or legal department !!

Email a SAR to the DPO at UKPC attaching a copy of the V5C log book , or copies of 2 recent redacted utility bills as proof of I D under the GDPR law to obtain all your data , including wall pictures and documents

Read posts 2 & 4 of the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum too

Did the letter give 14 days notice ? Or 30 days notice and included financial forms ?

There will be no CCTV , so irrelevant

    It's not a Penalty charge , it's a Parking Charge Notice , completely different

    Thanks for your response Redx,

Letter is from the DCB Ltd from 6th of April 21 stating the payment needs to be paid in 14 days, picked up from the address that I recently moved out from. I have changed new address on my V5C and license already. I will compose the SAR later.

Never had any offence always pay for carparks when needed. Don't understand this completely 2 photos from 2 different days. :/

DCBL are having lots of fun chasing up old tickets for UKPC. Not only do DCBL not have a clue but they will have added a fake £60/£70 so any claim will be a huge SCAM and FAKE.

All UKPC are doing is using DCBL as a freebie service for old tickets ..... DCBL have not yet woken up to this.

    Thanks beamerguy,

So, what I need to do for now is just send SAR request to UKPC providing my identity and my new address and wait how it unfolds? I assume they will send me a photos I already seen. Have nothing to my defense that their parking recording system was faulty.

YES, a SAR.   Double dipping is a known flaw so that's on your side and if you can show where you were overnight, that will help

If all these DCBL threats came to pass, the courts would be filled up for years with DCBL claims.

You wait, if you get a letter before claim giving you 30 days to respond, come back here. Such a letter will commence the downfall of DCBL as they will add their fake,

I would also reply to DCBL telling them this is a double visit, quite obviously caused by ANPR error and if they client continues to send letters about it then it will be considered harassment.  Also confirm your address to be the one DCBL found you at because if you had no precious letters, it's because your car was registered at an old address in 2016 and you must make UKPC and DCBL erase the old address that must be on the system.

The SAR reply will reveal that, but just giving you a heads up that you must tell them both which address is right and to erase the old one, to stop them sneakily sending a claim form to the DVLA-fed old address later when DCBLegal get involved.

Don't understand why they camera doesn't registered me entering the next day morning or leaving the previous day?
    This is why:

Because ANPR is flawed and the BPA know it:

Just to check. Did this happen in England/Wales or Scotland? If Scotland, you only need to string them along till September and the whole thing becomes time-barred for them to take legal action. Unfortunately, an additional year in England & Wales.
