Mind blown, brain cell needs a rest0 -
Well today is the first day in a little while the price is below the 40p. It's about 36p for me today. Looks like tomorrow will be slightly under too, at 37p or 38p.0

Out of interest is it the same calculation and price on the latest tracker product? As in are they all the same when it comes to the daily price just the caps different.0

Just have to hope Octopus don't put up the prices after the new caps are announced!1 -
For me, Tracker's average daily unit rates in July:Electricity - 36.95p/kWh (SVT is 27.9p/kWh).Gas - 9.34p/kWh (SVT is 7.33p/kWh)Haven't received my bill yet, but on the basis of the provisional charges, it looks like Tracker will cost circa £7 more than SVT for July, and that's the lowest energy use month of the year.1

niktheguru said:Its rather crazy how many of octopus' call centre and email staff don't know how these tariffs work. When I enquired re tracker gas I was also given incorrect information. I was also told there was a "waiting list" and I had to sign up online.....they then emailed me the tracker online link which unsurprisingly says I need to call them to sign up. (which i had already done) I have been on tracker a couple of years ago and know how the tariff works, its a shame their staff dont and give out misleading information to many customers!
Yeah, well I left it and decided to leave it be, a week or so later got a reply saying they seen my emails and they put me on v3. So now I am on agile and v3.

I thought the good times had returned when I checked the Guy Lipman Gas Tracker page when it showed todays price at 6.61p/kwh but later the Octopus site showed 10.51p/kw/h. Still it’s the cheapest for 2 weeks.0

I can't see it coming down - it's not in big corporations favor anyway to reduce the cost, why would they when people will go into debt and pay it?
I wonder who will be footing the bill with all the jumped meters?0 -
The good thing is gas usage is low right now or should be for everyone and only 2 months til October and the expected 14-15p kwh price cap rate should make all on gas tracker v3 feel better.1
