Apparently its a perfect storm of no sun, no wind, five nuclear reactors offline for maintenance this week, and one of the links from the UK to Europe (think the Dutch one) also not operational at the moment,4

prices out for tomorrow are steep, original tracker NE 29.16p kwh, dreading to see agile this afternoon0

But on the bright side, the savings on gas may well more than compensate for the electricity, depending on your personal mix. It certainly is for us.2

We've still been saving on Tracker vs Agile and Cosy the past month, so I don't mind weathering the storm for potentially the next few days. [And taking the long range view, at this level it's wouldn't even come anywhere close to wiping out past savings of Tracker vs SVT even if it stayed this high for the rest of the Tracker term. Although it would be silly to stay on for the medium term paying more than the SVT out of stubbornness.]0 -

I just keep seeing the prices creep up slowly and with having 2 EV cars in the family and a washer, dryer and dishwasher all with timers, I do wonder if it's now time to switch back to go or Intelligent go?!
We use ~11,000 kWh per year, 50% of which is the EVs so it could be 50% @ 25p & 50% @ 7p on Intel Go, average = ~16p vs 100% @ ~20.5p on Tracker or whatever the new average is going to be..
Not sure if we can switch the electric but leave the gas on tracker? Anyone done this or switched back to Intelligent Go from Tracker?
