Well there are deals available with 20.273p for elec and 5.425p for gasTelegraph_Sam said:Please expand on "consistently", tks.
Tracker hasn't been cheaper than that all month for gas, averaging way over 6p
Electricity averaging over 23p with only 2-3 days below 20p.
Last year, Tracker was so much cheaper than any other plans, now it's more expensive, just doesn't seem like it's worth it at all.0 -
It depends not least on which version of Tracker you use, and how long back you go for calculating "average". Personally I give more weight to the 90 day record than to last week let alone yesterday before coming to a decision. But it does seem that Dec 23 V 1 is great just as long as it lasts ..Telegraph Sam

I'm on Dec 23 V 1 and this is looking at the last 30 days, not just yesterday.
Even looking at previous prices, you can see it trending upwards

Since January, my mean price has been 19.807p/kWh for electricity, and 4.503p/kWh for gas. Would need to drill down in to the bills to work out what the average price per unit is, but I reckon I've saved around 20% over SVR so far.Telegraph_Sam said:It depends not least on which version of Tracker you use, and how long back you go for calculating "average". Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Thanks I'll add AgileBuddy to my collection of sources. At a quick glance I could not see what versions were being covered at any point in time, nor the time period(s). Is it 30 days throughout? I fear more study is required.Telegraph Sam

How viewpoints have changed since last year when many of us were horrified by Dec 23's then-new formula compared with Nov 22!Telegraph_Sam said:It depends not least on which version of Tracker you use, and how long back you go for calculating "average". I fear that there will be cause to continue being horrified when Dec 23 reaches its sell-by dateTelegraph Sam

Advance warning - tomorrows electric price is going to be horrific. Never seen an average like it before, going to be 31p where I am all day3
-
33.6p/kWh for me, on April 2024 v1 - October 2024 v1 would be 35.95p/kWh (even Tracker v2 would be 30.11p/kWh).la531983 said:Advance warning - tomorrows electric price is going to be horrific. Never seen an average like it before, going to be 31p where I am all day
Agile's going to be 'interesting'?
Doesn't look like much respite until the 15th (potentially)?0
