I did mean less than 1kWh use from the grid each day, sorry. Solar is covering the rest of my use of around 6-9kWh a day at the moment.

Yikes!

For me, 52.25p/kWh & 16.79p/kWh - the gas unit rate is almost as much as I was paying for electricity through most of 2021!

The rates are driven by the future contract pricing as Octopus do actually hedge their future energy needs, so those prices simply reflect the current costs of those contracts...
