I'm reluctant to become a Twit too and if Tom's experience is anything to go by, not worth the bother.Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Big drop in today's gas DA price, so, hopefully, tomorrow's unit rate will be significantly down on today's - there still seems to be no consistency in what actual figure Octopus use in their calculation, though...?Today's DA High is £185, which would give (for me) 8.24p/kWh.Today's DA Low is £158.2, which would give (for me) 7.23p/kWh.

Actual for today... 7.65p/kWh, which equates to a wholesale price of £169.4. 🤔SJMALBA said:Big drop in today's gas DA price, so, hopefully, tomorrow's unit rate will be significantly down on today's - there still seems to be no consistency in what actual figure Octopus use in their calculation, though...?Today's DA High is £185, which would give (for me) 8.24p/kWh.Today's DA Low is £158.2, which would give (for me) 7.23p/kWh.

If I was on tracker I would probably be of the mindset that the caps are there and anything below is a bonus as the months roll on.SJMALBA said:1 week into July, and my average daily unit rates for Tracker:Electricity - 32.76p/kWh(SVT - 27.9p/kWh)Gas - 8.19p/kWh(SVT - 7.33p/kWh)
However I would consider the switch to Agile for electricity before they change the rates as they have on GO.0 -
The one day reprieve is over....electric going back up tomorrow!! Daaaamn.1

Those who have opted for fixes recently will be paying well above the Tracker rates and they have no chance of some days being cheaper.
It's still a good bet, Tracker V4 could be released any time with higher caps.Barnsley, South Yorkshire
