Interesting. I would have expected the visual "pattern" of the two tariffs to be reversed.
Will the price formula change on 15 Feb apply to Agile also, or only to Tracker?
Is there a non-EV, no-battery, low/zero load shift reader who would be willing to share with us a Tracker - Agile Compare for a period of a month (or more) ?Telegraph Sam
There are also unknown unknowns - the one's we don't know we don't know0 -
No battery here, no real effort to load shift and no EV.

There's no formula change for agile, the only difference is the standing charge to bring it into line with all other tariffs.Telegraph_Sam said:Interesting. I would have expected the visual "pattern" of the two tariffs to be reversed.

@Bendo. That's about the most convincing argument in favour of Agile that I've seen. Presumably the evidence pro Agile will increase after the 15 Feb Tracker price increase?Telegraph Sam

Because it still works out cheaper for me - here’s that comparisonmeinnit said:Archerychick said:I moved from the tracker to the agile tariff a week ago, sooner than I had planned but the rate change for the tracker meant I acted quicker.
anyway the first weeks numbers are in - £10.36 vs £14.24 on tracker. That’s 63kwh of electricity so low usage. All my ev charging was done in the early hours and I think one of the days we had negative pricing so charged it for nothing. So over a month we might be looking at £16 saving which definitely helps.I had one day where Agile was more expensive but we’re talking 4p 😂 - this is a normal day for me when no car charging, and no washing machine running for instance.
Very nice although why did you move to Agile before the price increase kicks in on 15th Feb?

What a guessing game! I keep changing my mind about swapping to Agile , saying I'm not and then I will. I just don't know what will happen in the different seasons.0

I figure winter is a worse case scenario. I also think it depends on whether you have large appliances like a hybrid for load shifting. Without my hybrid it’s pretty flat between the two tariffs.t0rt0ise said:What a guessing game! I keep changing my mind about swapping to Agile , saying I'm not and then I will.
