Which is great if you have a brain that can hold numbers and compare them. I need to have them all on the same view to make any meaningful comparisons, the intended way for which now would be manually writing them down - I'm not doing that, I'll just stick to gastracker.uk fit the historical daily prices. It was interesting to have the half-hourly view but I'm thankful I had no need to rely on it.la531983 said:
Just change the date at the top? You can still go back to the 31st Jan (as of today)Spoonie_Turtle said:
Same. I clicked on it and went 'oh, no I don't like that' - frustrating to lose the recent history. Oh well, gastracker alone it is for me, thennorthernstar007 said:
thanks for that, and i'm not keen on the new layout, lost all the history chartsla531983 said:A heads up that Nordpool have deactivated the old site and got a new one, tracker price can now be calculated from the link below...

On the link I posted, the average price. No different to the old site.millie said:
Where do I find the auction price on there. On the old page just after 10am it showed the price which was an indication of the next day pricela531983 said:A heads up that Nordpool have deactivated the old site and got a new one, tracker price can now be calculated from the link below...

Has any reader had any experience of installing and using BlueStacks on a Windows (7) PC for the technically semi-literate? Is it idiot-proof?masonic said:
A Chromebook runs ChromeOS. A Windows laptop runs Windows. They are different operating systems which run different software. An emulator like BlueStacks is needed to run Android apps on Windows.BootsMullery said:

There are also unknown unknowns - the one's we don't know we don't know0 -
If I really needed to then I guess I would have to. The point is it was simple and easy before and seems strange they've put that barrier up so it's no longer simple and easy.la531983 said:

But like I said, more important things to do. It was just an initial throwaway comment because it was interesting to see the previous days and I enjoyed superficially comparing them *shrug*0 -
It is only really one day that is needs to be looked up to calculate the relevant Tracker price though, and only then if you wish to determine tomorrow's rate an hour or so earlier than it becomes available elsewhere. Other sites provide historical data in a convenient format.I tend to keep a tab open on my phone's web browser, so it just means changing the date now rather than a refresh.1

Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
Result! I had to ask for it to be escalated to a complaint to stop the endless “ we took you off your fixed tariff to put you on a fixed tariff” emails. If you renewed last summer and had an end date it’s worth trying. My account hasn’t updated yet but I will keep an eye on it.

I referred my brother and they joined in November 2023 and they also had an end date for November tracker v1 of Nov 2024.northernstar007 said:ive took screenshots of my end date nov24, hope that gets honoured
Could be interesting for those moved to the new formula and those not as to what Octopus do1 -
It's beyond me why Octopus didn't first of all align the formula and cap for all versions of the tariff and leave customers on the version they had. They could then deal with all the fixed terms at renewal, or move everyone to a single fixed version without changing the pricing. What they seem to be doing just opens them up to complaints from everyone. They should know that everything they do comes under scrutiny in the various forums and social media platforms these things are discussed.1
