They fixed my billing, they said because they were still taking half hourly readings from when I was on agile it was confusing the system as it should have been using meter readings.
4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.

Thanks - guess I have the same issue - will contact them tomorrow :-)

  • I'm still on a payment holiday with tracker no money taken in December and Jan Bill.about to be created. I'm on variable monthly DD paid in full but account is showing a -£118.

I believe in my case since joining them in the spring this will be the first time they will try and take a DD payment but happy to leave my money in my interest bearing account and wait for them to sort themselves out.
  • Tracker 40% cheaper than SVT Octopus Flexible tomorrow for us.

Yes indeed - and that's on a day with not much wind and average demand. It bodes well for the next couple of weeks at least with similar wind/solar and demand forecasts. Unless of course any one of a number of unexpected global catastrophies messes things up

I get more "satisfaction" from seeing the figures in comparative graphical format such as gastracker and mysmartenergy. The reverse applies in unfavourable circumstances unfortunately ("unexpected global catastrophies")

Quite the contrary the price capped SVT tariff is limited to 2.4% profit for energy suppliers and I hope I don't have to explain next day pricing for tracker versus buying energy in advance to fulfill the SVT quotas for customers.

The people making a lot of money are the producers and/or hedging counterparties. What is extracted or generated is able to be sold to the suppliers for an above market price.
