Another big cut to the electric price here for tomorrow, into the low 14s for tomorrow, must have been a while since we saw those prices on a weekday.

And all of yesterdays gas gains on the wholesale market have been wiped out in early trading today.

5.37p/kWh weighted average for me since joining Tracker on 6th December, or 10.12p/kWh overall for December including the first 5 days on Agile - including the benefit of the savings sessions in both cases. Likely to go up for the next week or so as I'll be using more energy than normal during the Christmas holidays as I've been told to let someone else play the role of Scrooge this year, and I don't expect we'll see another saving session until next year. But still a cracking end to 2023, with a good chances prices will stay at their current low levels for at least another week or so. Christmas Day looks to be another one where wind energy generated will outstrip total demand.
  • Hi mmmmikey,

When you say "weighted average" I assume you mean taking account the usage (i.e. total cost divided by total KWh used) or have I misunderstood?
