I wonder if it is worth me questioning this with Octopus and saying - why did you put me on the 1 year fixed length tracker 3 weeks ago, when it says this is only the case from 11th December 2023 in your FAQ?
I doubt that they will put people with no end date on a situation any worse than me - if I had to bet on it, if they do anything soon they will say that everyone on the other cheaper versions will have their end date set to 10th December 2024 as a blanket change.
I guess they won't want to keep people on that cheaper tariff forever, but it's anybody's guess when they want to force people off of it.

As soon as the 11th December Tracker appears on the Octopus Compare app I will track it for how much more tracker may become against cosy for us.
For reference I have let the developers of the app know their is a new tracker product so they can get to work on it 🤣2 -

We renewed in August coming off July 22 tariff, put on the Nov 22 tariff with higher caps but no end date, and for some reason lower SC than our previous one.0 -

I moved onto electric Tracker less than a month ago, but they put me on the November 2022 tariff which seemed strange (with an end date).1 -
I am wondering if this is their way of reducing the number of people moving over to tracker? With regards to people being given an end date. I assume I do not have one?

Luckily moved onto tracker last week gas is Nov 2022 V1 and electricity is Feb 2023 V1 neither have an end date. East Midlands maybe others were given an end date previously based on region?

can I ride on the back of others participating in this thread more expert than myself in such matters that the best thing to do is nothing, ignore daily variations, keep mum, and forget about switching until something unforeseeable happens?
