I seem to be participating in more than the original "Tracker" thread without consciously taking this step. The problem isn't helped by the difficulty in seeing the details / name of the thread whilst typing my contribution.
It's all relevant and you've introduced / participated in some interesting discussion so personally I wouldn't worry about it.....

Gas Tracker is just under 5p/kWh here this weekend, which is OK. The weather is warmer so I'm down from 60kWh/day last weekend (when it didn't thaw outside) to 35kWh/day now.

Everytime I return here the thread has gone off on another non tracker direction. As a reminder, when this thread was started in April 2021, the OP requested the following:gwapenut said:I just wondered about people's experiences with this tariff and whether they feel they are winners or losers.I don't know whether they are still actively following the thread or not, but I don't think they've expressed any negative opinion about the relevance of the discussion that has flowed from their query. It's certainly reasonable to consider within the remit of "people's experiences with this tariff": how they are using it; how it interacts with other schemes/incentives; and how it compares with other tariffs. If a thread with a more restrictive subject matter is required, then perhaps those one of those opposed to a more general and meandering discussion could start one and be clear on what is and is not relevant. There really is no need to continue reading and posting to a thread started two and a half years ago by someone whose objectives don't seem to align with your own.Personally, I value discussion of broader aspects of being on the tariff. I think the tangential discussion enriches our understanding of the tariff beyond the immediate price trends from day to day. It enables us to engage in discussions with a more holistic view and make better decisions about how to use energy on this tariff to our best advantage. So I would like us to keep the conversation flowing, and share our thoughts on how these broader explorations can contribute to a more comprehensive approach to using energy on the Tracker tariff. I have been alerted to things that have enhanced my experience of consuming energy billed under the Tracker tariff in this thread I might not have discovered elsewhere, and I am grateful to those who mentioned them here.9 -
The thread is about tracker it gets detailed too many times for my liking.
A bit like asking kids to stop doing things I expect it will fall on deaf ears and so be it some people will just want to annoy others.
I will try and bring it back when I can for those avid tracker users looking for what's coming up this week in the world of tracker and for those wanting to join tracker aren't coming here and going "what's this about it's not tracker"2 -
And on that note, here's the guess the price of tracker this week.
Also, if there were to be a DFS event what day would it be?
