Which is why I have the panels being installed. It will just charge up IF those are met.. it happened on the 10th. We have had some cheap days too.0

With solar also being decent today (and it being a weekend) I would have expected the wholesale price to be lower than the ~15p it is.Maybe tomorrow!N. Hampshire, he/him. The three Ws Warm, Windy and Weekend hopefully will combine tomorrow to give lower Tracker prices. 😉QrizB said:SJMALBA said:Another drop in wholesale electricity today; for me, tomorrow's unit rate will be 27.61p/kWh (down from today's 31.33p/kWh).Checking Drax Energy Insights I see that wind generation has been steadily picking up for the last 14 hours or so. However, the downward trend of the last couple of days continues, with wholesale down again today; for me, tomorrow's unit rate will be 25.64p/kWh, which is the lowest it's been since the 12th of June!

At the moment, not having a smart meter, and paying variable direct debit, I provide manual meter readings on the first of the month, which generates a whole, calendar month bill (which is the way I have always done it, irrespective of tariff type). With a smart meter, paying variable direct debit, how does billing work with Tracker? Can you specify which day of the month the 'final' reading (the one that would cause a bill to be generated) is taken?

It still takes half hourly readings and then bills you for that based on the days value.

Octopus will set things up and/or change things so that smart meter reading gets taken to fit in with when customer would like bill/statementSJMALBA said:At the moment, not having a smart meter, and paying variable direct debit, I provide manual meter readings on the first of the month, which generates a whole, calendar month bill (which is the way I have always done it, irrespective of tariff type). With a smart meter, paying variable direct debit, how does billing work with Tracker? I have my billing set up so that they generate a bill on the 1st of every month and I just pay the full amount, I'm on a variable payment schedule.4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.1

Are you guys saying that you don't get billed based on each days tracker usage with each days tracker price?0
