I've got a whole day of electricity readings missing. The first time anything from electricity has missed and it's exactly the whole day... 27 October. How odd and how annoying.

The return of light winds, frost and fog towards the weekend could test the resolve of some tracker and Agile users as daily rates surge near or even above SVT.
Down half a penny into the 18p range here tomorrow (Saturday)....

I am/was on Octopus tracker for my electric since March 2023.
3 weeks ago i changed my gas over to Octopus and was on the Flexible Octopus rate.
This morning i was checking my account and i am now on the Flexible Octopus tariff of 27.93 and 42.01 daily charge.
Last night i was on what i have been for months.
Is this a glitch or has moving my gas over to them put me on a default tariff?
You can check the contracts on your account via this web service: https://energy.guylipman.com/sm/admin?source=octopus
(when set up go to Octopus Account Details)
It sounds to me like there was a erroneous change made as a result of bringing gas over and they've already corrected the issue.
    Thanks for the reply.
I am not sure what you mean by they have corrected the error.
Electric was on Tracker tariff and gas is on Flexible tariff/
As of today i am on Flexible tariff for both.
Both of my IHD's(one for electric Octopus and EDF for gas before i switched) show the same tariff Flexible as my online account.
I misread and thought you were saying it was initially wrong and then went back to being what you have been on for months.
After contacting Octopus again they have now put me back on the Tracker tariff for electric.

I noticed that the end date for my Tracker is 02/2024 which would be 1 year on the Tracker tariff when i switched from E.ON.

I am now waiting for them to pay the referral bonus from when i switched my gas over to them last month and they have taken the DD this month but no bonus yet.

If I am wrong, I apologise, but I doubt you will get the referral bonus for bringing your gas over when you are already an electricity customer.  Surely the referral bonus is for new customers.

Echo the above, its not £50 referral bonus per fuel, its £50 referral bonus per new customer.

Just contacted them on twitter and it's been pulled and already showing. Now just hope it's not too late for the bill.

I thought it was per fuel as i asked a Q on 12/10/2023 in this thread and you replied yes i can use a referral code to move my gas over to Octopus and keep my Octopus electric on the Tracker tariff.

You could of also meant that i can use the referral code but i will not get paid as i am with Octopus already.

Nowhere here does it say its per fuel

    https://octopus.energy/help-and-faqs/articles/i-have-a-question-about-octopus-pound50-referrals/

Clearly says its for "new customers", of which you are not one.

Is it a fact that you will lose out as a result of the missing data, or might it be that the substitute data is more favourable for you?
And how did it come to your notice in the first place that there had been this data loss?
