Tomorrow pricing around the 23/24p mark.

As for Agile customers, let's just say between 5 and 8pm they likely need to turn everything off....
  • Those on agile with home batteries should/will be fine, windy Tuesday onwards

Probably depends what happens tomorrow when the gas markets reopen, closed on Friday at 136. The previous Friday it was in the 90s.

How long on average are the low/negative price windows of opportunity with Agile?  Are they generally just 30 mins or an hour at a time or do they last for several consecutive hours on a regular basis.

When my house battery is fitted in a few weeks I was planning to go back to Intelligent Octopus and charge the battery in the off peak 7.5p window.  Does Agile present opportunities to charge a 13.5kWh battery (full charge should take around 3 hours) at cheaper average prices than the IO off peak window?
There is a seperate agile thread where you might get more targeted people that have been on it years responses.

    Thanks, I’ll repost there.
  • I am awaiting my first Tracker invoices.

I get the impression that Agile is for those who are able and willing to adjust their daily consumption pattern to take advantage of daily price peaks and troughs. Essentially short term management. Whilst Tracker is for those who think in cycles which could be months in length. To give this a label: "medium term management". The choice being to keep with Tracker or to switch to a different more fixed tariff. Depending on the yardstick(s) for comparison selected.

As generalisations go is this somewhere near accurate?

You have been on gas tracker for more than 12 months or am I thinking of a different Telegraph_Sam ?
  • Long gap between deserting and returning
