Agile SC is 47.5p per day. And Between 4 and 7 tomorrow it reaches the EPG. It would have cost more next week.

What I reported is for my region, it depends where you live.
How much per day is electricity SC in your region on flexible tariff ? -  July looks same as April

I just finished my year long Tracker (v3) contract. Over the year it saved me £555 approximately against Octopus' variable tariff/EPG (despite losing about £80 in the first 3 months).

I'm continuing with the new tracker but clearly the caps are now higher, there's no EPG and the variable rates (as of 1st July) will be cheaper.......
My Tracker contract finishes mid July and I'm currently deciding whether to just move on to their SVR or carry on with Tracker but have the compulsory smart meter (are they sometimes still a pain when switching suppliers?)

Hi - well worth having a smart meter fitted IMHO. No problem at all now in switching suppliers with a smart meter and in fact makes the process easier than ever. Having a smart meter will give you access to the full range of smart meter only tariffs that are available now and also you'll be ready as the other suppliers introduce more of them to catch up with Octopus. You'll also be able to see how much energy you're using and when and you'll no longer need to submit readings as it will be done for you automatically.

All new installs are SMETS2 meters which are supplier agnostic. These meters connect to a network that all suppliers can access.

Based on that, its 48.66p, Agile is a bit lower than flexible SC as I was quoted 44p. Tracker is also 44p for me.

Just had by renewal email re v3 tracker (gas only - no smart meter) - same email as one posted earlier in this thread.

Replied back asking to stay on tracker and had an email back saying

'Thanks for getting in touch with us at Octopus Energy. I'm glad to hear that you've decided to stay on the Octopus Tracker tariff for your gas.'

I have not applied to have a smart gas meter so will see what actually happens in 6 weeks time.

I hope they stick to their word and kick you off tracker otherwise it's an empty threat like checking if you have an EV on their previous EV tariffs🤔🤣

Be interesting as to what they do I think they will just leave it all as is without the need for a smart meter.

Update for you, my tracker V3 expired on the 25/06/23, I was rolled onto 'Flexible Octopus tariff'.  Emailed customer services pointing email from them in May and yesterday they wrote back very apologetic and confirmed I am on tracker for Gas backdated to original expiry expiry on 25th June.

On checking the online account I am now apparently on Tracker v3 -  fixed term until 25/06/2024 - makes no sense!

A great result for you, they appear to have renewed your v3 rather than put you on the latest version. This was either a mistake on their behalf or a gesture of goodwill for messing things up.

Double mistake - No gas smart meter.

Elsewhere someone with a smart meter August renewal contacted them to say wanted to stay on tracker tariff answer was had to go on waiting list.

Thanks for the 'heads up', this sort of explains what other folk have previously mentioned here, namely that Octopus Customer Service Reps are inconsistent (probably because each CSR is given quite a lot of authority to 'do stuff'). It has been previously mentioned on here that if you don't an answer you like, try calling again or use a different channel (email / twitter) and you might get a different answer.  I'll enjoy my tracker v3 for another 12 months, even if I do have to submit manual gas reads.

I put my named down to go on the tracker tariff.
I haven't heard anything from Octopus and I'm wondering if I will just get transferred onto tracker tomorrow?
Anyone know what i should expect to happen  ?
    Thanks
