Griffindog said:I emailed to ask where my statement was (now sorted), if my Tracker had been renewed and what the caps are:I hope rates don’t go up to that per kWh!!!
I also had a nonsense reply to my email about the unit rate caps and requesting to stay on tracker. I was told some garbage about being able to do that on my renewal email. But my email says to reply to the email to request to stay on tracker..... and my unit rate cap question wasn't answered. Customer service seems to have dwindled. How can they not know what we mean? Can they not read?

To further add, as I forgot to mention, the confirmation email gives a predicted annual cost.At first I thought they maybe had adjusted my predicted usage as the quoted annual cost was really low, but having now looked a 2nd time, what has happened is because the unit cost is <null> on the calculation, the quoted annual cost is SC only. So anyone relying on the confirmation email for that, bear that in mind, a reason why estimated annual costs should be taken with a pinch of salt. My predicted KwH usage was on the email and of course is still not resembling reality. As promised will attach some screenshots.0

Northern_Wanderer said:I've had the email about my Tracker V3 fixed term coming to an end in June. Has anyone been given confirmation of what terms I'd be signing up to if I remain on the tarrif please? Are the caps and SC the same? Do I stay on V3 or will they put me on a current version? Thanks.
I'm also on Tracker v3 for both gas and electric with renewal in June - I've "extended" for another year but the caps will be 30p for gas and 100p for electric. SC is a little different but not enough to notice....0 -
Think I'm too late but is still possible to switch back to Tracker from the standard variable tariff. We were on Tracker last year but switched to variable when things headed upwards. We don't have a smart meter as this would entail demolishing the cupboard over the door with existing meter etc.0

Octopus mini stopped working today
Solid green light (cant connect to meter).
Will see in a day or two if its the mini or the meter turning dumb, to see if daily readings continue. (Update, mini already working again, took about an hour).--I sent a query over to Octopus management (without my account details) mentioning how the EPG is mentioned,, they did respond stating post July, Agile wont have EPG subsidies, so this reflects what @bristolleedsfan stated.1 -
New price caps released today (30p electric, 8p gas) still nowhere near the sub 18p and sub 4p prices on the octopus tracker. Have any other terms and conditions changed when you renew the tracker? Mine isn't due to switch until February. I suppose a concern is that they decide by February to close the tarrif off and then theres a full fat winter of high prices to pay with nothing built up.0

I don't understand your last sentence. Historically, when tariffs have ceased to be offered (eg; Go Faster and the Tesla Energy Plan) Octopus has allowed existing customers to remain on the tariff until the end of the contract period. How does closing a tariff impact your credit balance? You just need to change your monthly DD payment if your new tariff costs more.0 -
