23p for us today.
After our first month of Tracker being pretty much all in the 50s and 40s, it's astonishing how quickly - after just a couple of weeks in mostly the low 20s - I now feel slightly peeved when the price has the audacity to be back up in the 30s like it was yesterday

Does the EPG have any bearing on the market price? I can't see it given it's a global market, but could we end up benefiting from lower prices on agile/tracker because of the government scheme almost neutering the market at least in terms of UK purchasing price? Apologies if this is just complete rubbish. Just wondered.0

No, because the suppliers are still purchasing at the full market price - the EPG just means that the government pays some of the cost. The people selling on the market are not getting lower prices.zoonyx said:Does the EPG have any bearing on the market price? Nordpool's price for electricity tomorrow should see Tracker down around 20p/kWh. Together with gas under 5p/kWh!

With the
... and in the context of Tracker, the prices the suppliers are paying will have a significant percentage based on the hedging they committed to months ago, so day-ahead pricing being low doesn't necessarily reduce all of their costs...[Deleted User] said:

On July v1 - has there been any clarity what the actual caps are for gas and electricity now? I’ve found it very confusing!0

Ah ok so slightly more than SVR cap. I’ll keep an eye to see if continues to remain worthwhile staying on it as sorry over winter it may well not be!0

Tracker (thread subject) electricity is not 18p today, Agile electricity, tariff that you are on is not 18p today.Chrysalis said:6.33p gas today, 18p electric tomorrow.
My monthly bill this month is on track to be circa £20 (25%) less then last, with only small usage drop.
Your standing charge dual fuel will be nearly £14.40 ish/ nearly £15 depending on number of days in month.
