  • The wording has changed on the V3 tariff now. I hope they still bring it down to EPG

I've just done a quote on the GO tariff to see if it was still 7.5p overnight: https://octopus.energy/go/rates/ and nope, for my postcode area it's now 12p

    Unit rate (04:30 - 00:30):

    40.23p/ kWh

    Unit rate (00:30 - 04:30):

    12.00p/ kWh

    Standing Charge:

    47.99p/ day

    Prices include VAT.

Octopus Go is an electricity only smart tariff. For gas, simply choose any Octopus gas tariff.

    44.35p/ kWh

    Unit rate (00:30 - 04:30):

    12.00p/ kWh

    Standing Charge:

    37.38p/ day

  • August V1 tracker is back up, no electricity rate quoted but still says it is capped at 78p with no mention of the EPG.

  • It looks like Gas will be cheaper this weekend if I’m reading Marex correctly.

6.33p gas today, 18p electric tomorrow.

My monthly bill this month is on track to be circa £20 (25%) less then last, with only small usage drop.

I was thinking the same thing. And so it proved: 4.64p!

My electric is higher than that at 22.74p but still good, 4.64p gas is excellent.

Tracker (thread subject) electricity is not 18p today, Agile electricity, tariff that you are on is not 18p today.

Your standing charge dual fuel will be nearly £14.40 ish/ nearly  £15 depending on number of days in month.
