Who knows, but there is no risk either way as there are no exit fees, so can call and start the process of fixing the tariff change error now and then jump later if there is a better alternative.ChaunceyGardiner said:
You think they'll launch a new Tracker with lower caps than July v1?MWT said:
Personally, I'd wait a couple of days to see if there is a new Tracker released and then decide.

The more experimental (and/or complicated and confusing) TOU tariffs may also be deliberately kept separate from the standard tariffs page too.Dolor said:
Octopus has history here. They often appear to withdraw a t-o-u tariff before they issue a new version. My guess is that the EPG has added a big complication to such things as the internal tariff cap.Chrysalis said:
It's sad if they retiring TOU tariffs, but Agile is listed there as well and the signup page for it is still online. I am hoping its temporary.QrizB said:Has anyone else noticed that Tracker is now a "historic" tariff at https://octopus.energy/tariffs not a current one? It doesn't appear on the current page at all.(Apologies if this has already been posted.)0 -

Sorry, I meant they (Octopus) may have moved them (Tracker and Agile) from that page deliberately, as they are unusual tariffs, especially as the unit rates displayed in standard format could confuse laypersons.MWT said:k_man said:

However Octopus were using the gas meter serial number for the old meter and not the smart meter.I sent them photos and a few days ago the changed this over on my account. However my gas account is now showing Flexible Octopus April 2022 v1.Is it worth asking to switch back to the Gas tracker that I was on?

The 'Go' tariffs were not altered as they are below the cap already, so there was no discount...

I'll be *very* happy for Octopus to prove me wrong, but I suspect we won't see another offering of Tracker or Agile until the EPG scheme ends.

Has anyone ended or will be soon coming to the end of their Tracker tariff since the EPG came into effect. It will be interesting to see what Octopus are offering if a current Tracker isn't available.0

It isn't showing for me.
I suspect Tracker may take a break, but I think they will keep Agile (or a version of it), to encourage load shiftingQrizB said:I'll be *very* happy for Octopus to prove me wrong, but I suspect we won't see another offering of Tracker or Agile until the EPG scheme ends.1
