I'm on v3, so today's elec was 34.1p, but was reduced down to my regional price of 33.73pMWT said:fryedslyce said:
Just checked my Tracker price and it is capped at the EPG rate for my region, so the EPG is definitely the new Tracker cap.SJMALBA said:Electricity up again for tomorrow; for me, it should be 35.14p/kWh, so above EPG but below Tracker v2 UR cap... so, 33.07p/kWh?That depends on which version of Tracker you are on.The daily price is capped by the tariff cap for your version and then discounted by the EPG down towards the floor set by the EPG.0

Cap on July's Tracker is 55p, so with the max discount (assuming it's still 17p despite regional unit rate variations) essentially our cap is now 38p. Our EPG is over 35p, which would make the functional cap just under 3p extra; not too horrendous but obviously I hope we don't have weeks and weeks of it over winter, of course, especially with electric heating. That would call for starting to reevaluate whether the dips below still make it worth staying.MWT said:fryedslyce said:

Ah, I misunderstood you last time, I thought that was just for gas. So it's the same figure for both? I get 21p for electricity, but 5.4p for gas, which seems too low.
