Wow Round, that's quite some week you're having on it. I hope you're able to take the rest of the week easy and that your father recovers quickly from his fall. The dentist was brilliant, the problem tooth is fine and we have a watching brief on another. Hotter shoes are no longer available though the garden centre on the way back. That's a shame but it means I didn't declutter £££ in an effort to find the right ones again this year. I'm so tired of shoes that are almost perfect But Not. Hotter has been coming closest recently but I'm probably migrating to Sketchers which are available locally. I've been advised not to wear toepost sandals any more and that I'd be best off with a 1" heel. I need to find some right fast.Scrapstore run completed, tip run completed, CS run completed, Foodbank donation dropped off while in Morribunds getting frozen chicken for the dog to administer meds and car filled up. Also took the dog to the vet because she swallowed a lamb bone whole a few days ago and it hasn't come out the other end yet and is giving her gyp. No more bones for her, which was my last hope that she'd wouldn't need her teeth cleaned every once in a while. It worked a treat with Kelpie but she doesn't understand bones are for chewing. Cardboard is, apparently, especially when in the bin, but not bones.Am starting on kitchenalia as the next category for decluttering. We have collected Too Much over the years.Kitchen floor still crunchy.Better is good enough.7

Gosh Round I hardly dare come on here in case something else has happened, much love, we need that eye to sort itself out now.
HB I have 4 pairs of the same Hotter shoes in different colours for work - T bar with a low heel, worth every penny, and I have a pair of trainers too. I think they have some offers on their website.
Busy day at the paid stuff, back at 6pm for a meeting. Have got car insurance quotes for Dad, pie made for tea.
No flying done whatsoever, other than emptying and refilling DW. Will shove a load of washing in at some point.7 -
I have FINALLY finished my bedroom spring clean. I also ran round upstairs with the vacuum cleaner and then took it outside to be emptied.
Been sorting out tomorrow's work and have been to dentist for a deep clean - yuk. Have asked them to email the receipt then I can submit it to the health plan place. It was beyond them. Mind you I once went behind the counter to sort out a printing issue for them - so there you go.
I need my tea but half my face is numb due to anaesthetic - THAT'S how deep the clean was.

Hi ladies
Flapping in late. I’ve only skim read so apologies for anything I miss - Round you absolutely have to rest, I too am worried.
Piggers you’ve been a whirlwind well done!
Back to work was as expected. Our year 11 students have their assessments this week for some subjects, Year 13 next week, so it’s a whole bubble of stress and anxiety. Supporting each of them as best I can.
Flying wise I have cleaned the kitchen tonight, pegged a washload out, now DDs trainers are in to wash. I’ve also loaded my backpack full of books to declutter to the school library tomorrow. The garden has had a good water as it’s bone dry here, my tulips are open which I’m delighted with. Got a good YS haul at the small Tesco in the village at school run time.
I have two lots of eggs to deliver tomorrow, before and after work. I’ve also written a to do list with all the small things on I really must achieve.
Hugs, sticks and spoons to all xx

Bank account opened to replace the ones I closed yesterday
A couple of phonecalls made
Kitchen and bathroom S&S'd; everywhere else tidied
WMx2 (but not hung out, as reaching up hurts my shoulder and I've only just got rid of the pain from another trapped nerve)
Easter trail pictures removed from wooden posts; posts put away, pictures binned
Seeds planted - peas, various types of beans, courgettes; mini greenhouse tidied
Rosie walked
Phonecall received from surgery offering me my 2nd Covid jab at short notice: tomorrow at 1.30 - yes please
Pots and lawn watered, no sign of grass seed germinating
Round, I hope you've had reassuring news about your dad x
Glad to hear that Valli and HB have survived their visits to their dentists but sorry to hear about Layla's mishap with the bone.
Off to watch GBBO SU2C now

Boots collection made.. the online ordering service had not sent the request to the surgery or because they had an emailed request they ignored the second request which was for everything else. Thankfully the one item they did still have was my inhaler.. I can now breathe a bit better.
Grandboys hair minced.. he looks very handsome and so very grown up!Beasties all fed pizza, garlic bread, fish fingers and hotdogs for dinner, followed by yoghurts and fruit. Grandpink is all sparkly and happy.OH sent to post parcels as he walked through the door I had another one paid for. I have that 1 to send and 4 more I'm waiting on payments for.
I have lined myself up as a council grass to help them keep on top of fly-tipping and crime in the street.. It has become awful for fly-tipping down here so the councillor is becoming my best friend.
OH is going to help with the fitting of my mothers new front window on Thursday and tomorrow I am making a start on my bedroom. I am starting behind the door, in front of OH's cupboard. He is going to the gym in the morning so I will have a few hours peace and quiet to get on with it.. by the time he gets home I could have trashed half the room lol.
I have 3 reports to send to the council this evening, 2 regarding fly-tipping and 1 regarding noise. I swear it is all I ever do!!
Packups, school clothes.. small needs PE kit tomorrow.
DWWMPixie has pee'd the bed AGAIN!... that is 6 out of the last 7 nights. I think she is just drinking too much if I am honest but I will be checking her blood glucose when she wakes up to see if there is a chance of T1 diabetes..
I have a very sore patch of eczema in my eyebrow.. most unsightly!
OH also wants me to start applying for job.. regular hours, regular days off.. so we can actually plan a life and he can see the children occasionally. He was given a date for going back to work and he is not wanting to go, REALLY not wanting to go.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -
My phone has rung more today than it ever has before. Look away now if you don't want to read the update:
Dad has broken his hip and is being operated on tomorrow.
Well, they do say it never rains but it pours.
I've had jacket spuds with cheese for tea. And kept up my water intake.
I think resting is working - please don't worry. I'm being really sensible. The last thing I want is a trip to Sheffield for an emergency operation.
Love to all
