OH doing cat trays now he is home and emptied bins.. then having a shower (I added it to his list) and then bringing the dirty washing down.
He then has the car, the fish and the front room to tidy.
I am drowning in mess...

Pigpen, if you haven't binned them by now, why not put them outside with a sign saying 'free'.

Thank you for the lists and for all the work and dedication that goes into the thread. Of course I’m in, and of course I have fallen at the first list. I vacuumed the DR yesterday, so I will take that one as today’s win, and I have just seen off a couple of bits of ironing. Other than that, the kitchen is a grotty tip. 1 load of towels washed and line dried.
I have been to work for a few hours whilst DD went into school for the first time in a while. I have to admire her determination, even if I would rather keep her wrapped up safe until at least her 6 week review.Piggers, re the houseplants - if it makes you feel better, do what Honeybear advised me a couple of years ago - stick them out in the garden, then if they die, you won’t feel as bad as throwing them away!
Round - how did the appointment go? x
I hope all those returning to work today had an ok day.10 -
Fayolle she sounds like my DS, he has always just gritted his teeth and got on with things, in fact I think lockdown was a blessing for him in some ways because it limited what he could do when he first came out of hospital. Good for her though, that sort of attitude will help her through it, even if it leaves you worrying a bit.
Round sorry to hear you are still having problems, must be so worrying. Hope the appointment went well.
Still feeling a bit out of sorts but not a bad day at the paid stuff. Didnt see or speak to a soul from DH going at 8.30am until he came home at 7pm. I did manage a little walk in the sun though. Have swished and swiped the kitchen but it didnt need much.
Yoga next, then will read for a bit. In the office tomorrow.
HB that sounds like doggie heaven! Hope the dentist was OK.
ASB hope the first day back was OK, was thinking about you x

Went for a run.
Emptied DW, washed non-DW items.
Finished and emailed a report.
Checked greenhouse, put seedlings outside for their daily acclimatisation.
Drum practice.
Got a parking ticket notification - seems my uni permit was only for 1 term rather than the usual annual one. Very cross with myself as I'd sort of registered that was the case, but mis-read the email and thought 'expires August 2021' applied to all when it is just students. Emailed uni to ask whether at 1 day per week it is worth me getting a paid permit, or whether I'd be better off payg. Emailed the parking company to appeal, explaining the situation i.e. no work for 4 months and had got confused.....needless to say the appeal was rejected. Paid the £40. Now hoping that I don't get one for last week's parking, probably will as it is an automatic camera thing. If I haven't heard from uni by tomorrow, I'll go in the payg just to be safe.
Wrote summary of Friday's lesson.
Did vague bits of tidying.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
Ouch, Narc0, £40 for one day's parking is a bit steep!
Glad your DD got to school today, Fayolle. I expect she will have found it tough physically, but it will have done her good mentally, and it gave you a bit of a break xx
Hope you're ok, asb x and Honey Bear x
I have done several bitty jobs today. The main one was to go to our local branch of the bank that never answers the phone - I solved the problem by closing down both my accounts with them
The peas and beans are soaking overnight and I'll plant them tomorrow.
Somehow I'm only managing to put away one item a day in the studyI must try harder!
DS1 came round to bring me a large sheet of plywood to put on top of the saggy sofa springs. After months of struggling, I can now sit comfortably and get up easily.
Bed calls - see you all tomorrow xx9 -
Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
Todays plans include cutting DHs hair, cleaning cars and walking dogs before paid stuff. Whether any of this will get done is another matter.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.10
