Another one here who thinks often about LW, and would like to send her my love.
DD and I were on WAC sentry duty for a lot of last night, so it was a late and slow start for us this morning. HHI done, a load has just finished in the wm and is ready to hang out, winter boots put away and lighter daps sorted out (thank you, HB, for the push). DH has taken DD to meet her friend for prebooked lunch, so I am home alone for maybe 2 hours. I need to do some admin, scrub toilets, sort dinner, but might just go and peek in the gh first...7 -

I spent the morning in the garden but DDs not mine. Was lovely to catch up and the dogs enjoyed extra cuddles. This afternoon I'm watching football and doing not a lot else. I'm getting very good at doing very little and the house doesn't look too bad for it.Spend less now, work less later.9

Another one who would like to let LW know she is missed. Even when I wasn't following for one reason or another she was very much in my thoughts as my mother had Parkinson's.Belovéd is primed to deal with tea towels, aprons and mugs in the next hour or so. I'll then finish off a couple of piles of stationery and then it's shoes. After that he'll be involved again - suitcases, but given how intrusive day to day life is in this house that will probably be towards the end of the week. However, it will clear a big space in the attic because I really only need two suitcases and neither of them are big, in fact I think one fits inside the other. They are known as Wheels and Mini-Wheels so he knows which one to get down if I send him up there before we go away. He doesn't need the eight or so he's got, either.Better is good enough.7

Haven't done as much flying this weekend as I planned. Did sort the guest room and ds2s room. So that's an accomplishment ...

Well. Exactly an hour later. Mugs and tea towels were done in a trice and Belovéd decided suitcases were next. He's kept three, another one holds a particular production's costumes and props so shouldn't have been with suitcases at all anyway, and he's now delving up there chucking and sorting. This is A.Very.Good.Thing.I have all the suitcases we're letting go in my office as it turns out they're full of STUFF, as well as my two which are definite keeps. Who came up with the idea that things could be stored in suitcases in the attic? Fortunately I know it's pretty much all going to be donated - we haven't used it in years so I know we don't need it, and I absolutely know we don't love it. It's all in excellent nick so after I've run it all through the WM and dried it in the excellent sunny and windy weather we're having that's pretty much next week's car load sorted. (I'm sitting on a pile of shower curtains, wondering why we kept them.) The box of boots and shoes are now down too, ready for that little final sort.
Better is good enough.7 -

Afternoon all
Sorry I haven’t been posting, but I have been keeping up with flylady goings on... big hugs to those in need.
After a week of being stuck at my desk and barely any fresh air I looked at the weather forecast and designated this weekend to the garden. DH was in full agreement so we have mowed the lawns, pruned as needed, weeded everywhere, planted some lavender, prepped all the pots ready for some summer flowers that I have on order, re-edged the lawns, scrubbed the patio flags and front path and swept all the webs from everywhere! That makes it sound like it was in a right state lol... it wasn’t really but we looked at some photos the other evening of the garden just before we moved in and it made us take stock and decide to make some changes. (and the people here before us were much better at gardening...)
Ive also done a few loads of washing and dried it all outside, plus scrubbed the bathroom, cleaned my office, the spare room (DH office) emptied bins and litter trays and hoovered the ground floor. Our bedroom and the lounge still to do but I may leave those until tomorrow...right now I am having a sit down, a cuppa and a rest!7 -
HB.. the loft is on my hit list too but the rest of the hovel needs doing first.. the flurry of activity after I threw a wobbly didn't spill over into today.. so not much actually got done, I can not do that every other day, it is exhausting.
Mummy.. When I am finished playing at school I will tidy up..
You can tidy up at home if you want.
She put her pjs in the wash basket.. and put 2 strips of plastic back in the recycle bin which the cats got out..
OH is putting the car seats back in the car.
Back up to 100 things on ebeast and 10 on Vinted.. I do not like Vinted.. they keep your money until the buyer had had their item 2 days and said everything is ok.. they don't need to charge fees they make a fortune in interest by keeping everyones money for 10 days!
