I have worn my ankles out ... in bed with a hot water bottle having taken ibuprofen. Shed cleared. Need to throw more plant pots though.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Pollyanna, I'm a huge fan of Marcus Rashford and I'm not into football at all. He's amazing, and he shamed the government into doing what any right thinking person would have done in the first place. And Tom Kerridge is fabulous too so I'm glad they're working together.Round, I hope your father's situation improves overnight so that he can cheer up and heal.Clothes sorted, only a few things for the CS, so that means I'll have to turn out one of my drawers to see what else I can let go. I can't be doing with them overflowing any more, and after I've washed everything that I want to keep (it's all been in the attic rather longer than is ideal) there will need to be space for it. This nonsense about, 'If you haven't worn it for a year you can get rid of it' is such bulldust. We haven't had a really cold winter for several years but I'm never going to be without sheepskin gloves again, even if they are held together with Elast0plast, nor warm rubber-soled boots. Or tights. No call for them over the past year but that doesn't mean I can get rid of them all. There will come a time when I will need to Posh Up again. It's just that I don't know when.Better is good enough.9

Morning all.
The cars will not get cleaned today. Apparently DH will do them on his day off on Wednesday so I can continue with gardening today which I like doing.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Honey Bear - agree with you re the clothes.
Hope papa Round is improving.
am half expecting to be called up to the aged P's as they are having printer issues. Hoping, if so, that the 'Proximity Effect' kicks in. This normally works in school thus

Morning all
Polly I think about LW too. And you are absolutely right, the Full Time project is a great idea, we have a local project where families get recipe cards and ingredients, they are family friendly so hopefully the kids get involved too. There are a lot of people who for no fault of their own dont know how to cook and be resourceful with food so passing on these skills really helps. As I have said before I am really lucky that I have never been in that situation and I dont claim to know what it's like. I am also really sad that in 2021 people need this kind of help, but its great that people are actively doing something to help.
Well Sunday is here and the sun is shining, didnt sleep all that well, strange dreams. We are hopefully cycling today.
DS messaged me last night, he is wanting a new car, an expensive one which I dont think he can really afford, but I am trying not to get caught up in all of that and let it bother me.
Right, more coffee next.10 -
I too often find myself thinking about LW.. I may have to send her a card to let her know. I hope they are both ok.
I am FREEZING today.. sat here wrapped in a fleece blanket.
Cuppa had, about to get a second and I will hang out washing and I have a huge stuff binbag of stuff to fling and someone picking up a light shade later. PENNIES!! lol I will just put the money in the jar for the girls spending money on holiday..
OH being sent to shop today .. I'd go too but it is too peopley..
I need him to do a BIG tip run.. I have a sofa, a table, a bed frame, a dead washing machine and lots of bits to go.. he was supposed to be borrowing a transit to take it all but as ever if I don't demand and strop nothing gets done.
I've not seen Hazel this morning... she is old.. I am concerned.

Also worried about Jojo.
Up, showered and dressed. It's a start. The lawn I strimmed and mowed yesterday looks much better. Valli.. Should we do LW a few cards and I can send on so she knows we are thinking of her?.. I will check I still have her address.. .. yes I have.. I think everyone already has my address lol... I have sent a yule card the last few years but didn't this year.. I'm sure she will be struggling very much without her fluffy companions with holidays cancelled etc.. Her last post on the forums was 9th April so she has been about, maybe not up to much flying! I know how that feels!!.. I don't have Jojo's address and she rarely visits FB otherwise I would bother her on there.. I might anyway.. just to check up..
Jojo message outbound.. just saying we miss her and hope she is ok.
Anyone else while I am putting off doing anything because I hung out the washing had a huge hayfever reaction, laughed at the flying geese overheard chatting as they flew and then had a major coughing fit.
Sold a light shade.. £5 in my pocket TYVM!! It must be very reassuring.. you knock on my door and I have a major coughing fit as I walk down the hallway.. every time!!!

Morning xx
Weather forecast checked. Jeans pegged out. Second load swishing. I've removed another bag from my bedroom floor. Contents: 2 pink flanalette top sheets. To be washed and put in bag for cs. That's a bit more floor.
Barbara is going to ring me after she's visited Papa Round this afternoon. My eye is mostly behaving- Boris is still there . And breathe....

phone the ex for advice.
Usually, first or second stages have cured the problem but I'd have no idea why. (shrugs)‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
