BA may have the bigger problem that all the business travellers are still not flying - I'm one of them. I will lose my silver this June, at which point, there's no more value me flying them than with other airlines sadly, it was using the extra features (and therefore keeping) silver each year that kept me choosing them (within company policy of course). Once its gone - you have to pay to choose your seats etc (even if allowed business class).

Have you not had a years grace ?
Indeed - My year end is October and I've already got confirmation that I'm good until October 2022 at Silver. So you should be ok?
We have had several BA holidays( pre pandemic) and have always been happy with the price and service . May 20 they promptly refunded our trip when it was cancelled. On this basis we would be very happy to book with them again .
However the 10 day’s self -isolation on return to UK and the cost of all the Covid tests will put a lot of people off planning a short trip this year. We worked out it would be about £330 - £380 extra per person to an “amber “ country - that’s a pre flight test for each flight and the day 2&8 quarantine tests .

That will (hopefully) all be history in a few months.
The cost of the tests will fall as well while they are still required.
So lets get this straight, you’ve booked £4,500 worth of flights and accommodation to 9 destinations hoping that all curfews will have been lifted and you won’t have to self isolate when you return nor pay for PCR tests at every departure point. What is your cell No at Broadmore?

Where's Broadmore ? I'm in Broadmoor
Correct it's a no lose gamble.
I start off close to home where no testing will be required and work my way out over the course of the year. The testing requirements are going to be reduced over the course of time as the World opens up.
If one destination is looking dodgy just replace it with a more promising prospect.
Due to the flexibility of BA's booking policy you can go to three weeks before and make a nuanced decision.

Go green....not amber
I could be up for an all inclusive.
Hopefully that will be a thing of the past apart from Red Countries shortly.
Most people swerved the heinous policy by flying into England.
