It’s loosing a precious family member when you loose a beloved pet. Sending virtual hugs. You can comfort yourself that you gave the best possible life to her, but that doesn’t fill the hole.It’s a hard decision to get another one. When we lost our dog we said we’d wait until we retired as my working hours gradually built up as the children and dog got older and we didn’t think it would be fair to get a new dog and immediately leave it whilst working. Now I’m retired we like the idea of a dog but are used to the freedom of not having to be home for a certain time. We’re still debating the freedom and commitment versus the love and companionship. We swing from one to the other continuously 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️January spends - £587.581
