Happy payday! I had to wait the extra day, boo.
Good luck with the finances this month."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
Good morning and happy Thursday…and happy pay day for the people who had to wait (boo indeed!).
I didn’t manage a no spend day as I remembered I had to replenish stocks of dogs you move senior max strength. The price goes up and down drastically, but yesterday it was £30.88, which isn’t the best price it’s ever been, but a lot cheaper than the top price I’ve had to pay. If they ever hit £25 again I will stock up.
i started by taking the £30 out of next weeks budget, but that felt very restrictive before I’ve even started, so I shuffled a pot and will still start Saturday on the full £50….otherwise I’m setting myself up to fail.
I have enjoyed a packet of Sondey Jungle cookies for breakfast (milk chocolate), not at all healthy, but very nice.
I will attempt a no spend day today 😬

Sounds like you’ve got a good plan there. Good Luck with it. Is there something you could do instead of scrolling. I’ve been making myself knit whilst watching tv as I’m spending too much time online.January spends - £587.583

Good morning and happy Friday ✨
I think I will be having a very busy work day today, but I’m looking forward to a few days off.
@milann I can’t knit at all. I don’t know what it is about it that totally confounds me! I normally like to read, but can’t do that at the same time as tv, so end up scrolling as I have trouble concentrating on one thing! I finished watching One Day last night…what a tear jerker. I’m not normally too affected by things I watch, but I after a slow start it had all of the feels. I highly recommend it.
i am re reading all of Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum books, but it really irritates that they are only on kindle from book 7 onwards. I do have the earlier books, but they are like hens teeth now, so they are missing a trick not converting them (and I would buy them again to have the full kindle set). I am up to book 11 now and am enjoying them all over again.I hope you all have a fabulous day ☀️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
