Thanks everyone, you are all so kind. I sometimes feel bad as I seem to spend more time rambling about what I’ve spent, rather than what I saved 😬 Tonight I spent some money out of the house pot on some decorating bits for my office. I decorated about 9 years ago and within a couple of months the then kitten ripped some of the paper off,..and it stayed that way as I didn’t have the will to redo it 😅 I never liked it as it has wallpaper on 2 walls which was sale paper. I bought it because it was cheap and never really liked it! I have an idea I want to go all deep Victorian colours…which may not work as it’s a tiny space…but then, why not work in a dungeon, it would fit the work vibe perfectly 🤣 it will take a fair amount of time as I have a mountain of shredding I’m working my way through before I can clear the room enough to start.
I did go via top cash back though, so have a few pounds back and earned a few pounds on a pa survey today.

Greens @beanielou. I’m not sure if we are allowed links, but I found a really mad wallpaper in dune1m called ‘paradise cheetah wallpaper lilypad and raven’. It’s a bit bonkers, but I just loved it so much! I went for 2 rolls as it’s small room and won’t need much, maybe just a wall and then green paint. There’s a small ancient fitted wardrobe in there which is a dumping ground of work stuff I need to shred and things with no home. I plan to clear it out, rub it down, paint the doors a toning deep green and use it as a dedicated coat and shoe storage. I have been watching all the wonderful Victorian and Edwardian house makeovers on Instagram and thought I could test it out on a small room to see how it feels. What do you think? It will have the added bonus of keeping me entertained while I’m doing it. I did enjoy repainting the bathroom and feel a bit smug every time I go in it 🤣 I do wish the plumber would send the invoice though!
