Must try harder!

Good morning and happy Tuesday ☕️
I can report not a single win on pb’s, not even the tiniest 😖 Boo!Yesterday I really struggled with steps and only managed over 5k after marching around for 20 minutes after tea. I must look like a complete loon 😅
Today I will try and do better.
My weight went up 0.1 today, but fat went down and muscle went up. There’s no rhyme or reason to it…tomorrow they’ll probably switch over!I hope you all have a great day 🌟🌈Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning and happy Wednesday ☕️ The weekend is definitely closer as I have tomorrow booked off and then the bank holiday’s. MrWW goes back to work tomorrow, so we are in a period of crossover where he will be working weekends. Very annoying as there are places it would be mean to go without him 😬
The 0.1 went off again today, so I am now 0.1 down from this time last week. I’m so glad all the starvation and exercise is having such a massive effect, it makes it all worthwhile 🙄 I keep thinking something will give and I’ll suddenly get a decent drop, but clearly not yet! I am still galloping around the garden like a lunatic a few times a day to get at least 6k steps a day 🤣
Anyway, just work today and the usual galloping. Hopefully tomorrow will be more interesting.
I hope you all have a lovely Wednesday 🌟☕️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning and happy day off Thursday ☕️
I went down 0.5 this morning and am now in the next stone bracket….finally! I am hoping the extra steps and comedy garden marching are making a difference 🤭
I spent some money on a rather cheap eyebrow serum and lip/cheek tint this morning. I’m interested to see if conditioning eyebrows actually leads to them looking a bit fuller and youthful or if it’s just hype….but not so interested that I’d spend £30+ trying. This was £8.99, which I think is quite enough for an experiment.
I plan to get some extra steps in today, but I’ll have to leave dog. She’s been very stiff, as she mooches around the garden when I’m out and I think it’s been too much for her. She won’t be happy, but she can rest up for a few days and see if it helps. I’d take her to the vet, but she wouldn’t get in the car again at the weekend, so I’ll see if she improves with resting before considering a whole expensive home visit. She seems ok in herself and eating like a horse as usual. This is the disadvantage of an elderly 50kg dog 😖 you can’t just boost them up anywhere, it would be like carrying a wriggling Thelwell pony!

Our old collie had ibuprofen from the vet when he was stiff, then sometimes prednisolone too. There's also metacam for dogs - maybe have a google before you pay for the expensive vet who will just give her the same thing (and probably a telling off about weight because ....labradors).1

I get a prescription from my vet then buy the tablets online. It works out much cheaper. My dog has Onsior for her arthritis, although I only give it her when she’s particularly stiff.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Aww poor old dog. They can’t tell you where it hurts can they. The rest will do her good 👍
What a pity your on a different timescale to your hubster. Enjoy your time, whatever you decide to do. I’ll be surprised if I hit my lowere stone bracket as I wanted tomorrow - lost the plot yesterday and hit the chops and liquorice all sorts 😵💫January spends - £587.582 -
Happy Good Friday 🐰 👒
The scales put me back over the stone marker this morning so I leapt off, scowled at them and carefully eased back on whilst leaning backwards…they saw the error of their ways and told me I’m the same as yesterday and just under. I did not dare try for third time lucky 🤭 Same is better than up!I called at MrT’s for some bits, but then was wandering aimlessly and not sure what I needed. I avoided the bread, chocolate and crisps aisles completely, as we have bread in the freezer, more Easter chocolate than I can shake a stick at and plenty of elderly crisps. If I had gone down those aisles I would have been tempted by the hot cross buns, every Easter egg I don’t yet have and all of the crisps! It’s hard being this virtuous and saintly, but we all have our crosses to bear 😇 I did come away with some ready meals as I really like the calorie counted-ness of them (yes spell check, of course that’s a real word). It’s so much easier that weighing, measuring, logging each item and then trying to dish up the right % from the pan. I did get some chicken, potatoes, veg, etc. so will need to do that some of the time, but at least can have a few nights off.I also bought some pansy filled wicker hanging baskets for my two cat hangers outside. They were a good deal at £6 each, although annoyingly I thought they were 2 for £10 and can’t see that on my receipt 😖 It’s not worth the 20 odd mile round trip to go back though.I have had 2 marches around the garden and will go for another later. I’m hoping these extra steps will build up some muscle and help with the fat burn.I hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday 🌟☕️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Maybe I should have leaned back or stood on 1 leg or something this morning on the scales. I’m going backward. My own fault but it’s hard and frustrating to say the least 😡Well done you though at resisting the aisles with Easter goodies 😇😇😇January spends - £587.583
