@milann it’s a tried and tested method 😅 It really is frustrating and so slow. I can do everything right and still only move in fractions of a pound per week 😖 Although I couldn’t possibly go so far as to live on salads and vegetables, my calories have to include at least a sniff of the major food groups (chocolate, biscuits and chips), even if it’s just the tiniest sniff 😁. I’m waiting impatiently for the Easter egg sales 🤭Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Happy Saturday 🌟 I’m out of sync today. I’ve not done a huge amount, but managed to get over 9k steps yesterday and over 7k so far today. Earning back the calories seems to be working, even if it is a bit painful and time consuming. Just 0.5 of a pound and I’ll get my 1stone badge woohoo 🥳
I’m now settling down to a Ghosts marathon on Gold and some colouring…it’s all rock and roll here 🤭🤣
in money news…I won the lottery!! £2.60 🙄 So I bought a ticket for Tuesday and have 10p left. Yay!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Well done on the weight loss and the steps! I've managed more than my 6k steps target the last two days - must be the warmer weather. I had an email saying that I had a lottery win so I thought it would be the usual £5 but it was actually £68. I'm taking the HT out shopping on Wednesday so that will definitely pay for lunch. Fingers crossed for your Tuesday ticket 🤞🤞🤞2

Good morning and happy Easter Monday 🥚
I finally broke through the 1 stone barrier yesterday and lost another 0.1 this morning 🥳 I bust my calories yesterday with a small glass of wine and some Easter cake, so I was amazed it didn’t snatch my badge back 🤭
I hope to make the most of my last day off and we are planning a lunch out, despite the fact that it’s bouncing down with rain right now. It will make my garden march interestingly boggy 😖
I have been keeping an eye out for Easter egg sale bargains, but none are online yet. Hotel C have definitely got wise to not making too many. I remember one year getting all of my favourites at half price, but most appear sold out now (and the remaining bits haven’t been marked down yet). We gave them plenty of full price orders, but I’d have liked a bargain too! I was also keeping an eye on Bettys posh eggs, but they have taken their Easter range off the site, with no mark downs at all. Boo 😒
I got a bit carried away last night and bought some new paint brushes, boards and paints from my usual online retailer 😬 I want to paint a seascape after watching some amazing tutorials on YT. I haven’t done more than dabble for years. I’m definitely a Jack of all trades and master of none 🙄 but I could use some of the time when MrWW’s shifts clash with weekends. I ended up spending about £80, which is ridiculous…I could have bought a decent print for that 🤣 I still have some fritter fund left for the month, but won’t be able to save as much next month as it’s MrWW’s birthday. I still have the car repair looming (that they spotted in the garage last time), so I need to get that priced up and be prepared for before the mot. There’s always something pricey coming up no matter how hard you try to get ahead!I hope you all enjoy your bank holiday 🌟☕️🐣Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Well done on the stone loss 🥳 You must be noticing a difference in yourself by now?
It might have been cheaper to buy a print for £80 but think how proud you’ll feel to have painted something yourself.Step away from the Easter egg sales 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -
Well done on the stone lost! I find that a stone loss for me equals a clothes size less.2

Thank you both. I’m back in my sz 12’s, but feel on the fat side I them. I had bought 3 pairs of 14 jeans last yr when I couldn’t breathe in the 12’s 😅. So I’m back in the right size, but only just. If I get to my target I’ll be ok in the tightest of 12s and the loosest of 10’s….aren’t clothes sizes ridiculous? My bmi was. 30.2 and is now 27.8…I’m aiming to get under 25 and out of the overweight bracket. @Sun_Addict your steps advice is certainly making the weight move a bit faster. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
