Happy Christmas Eve 🎅🏻🎅🏻🎄🎄❄️❄️
The drive around the villages was lovely. Some houses had better light shows than the councils. I don’t know how the main lights are funded, but the selections went from really lovely right down to pathetic 😁 Our village seemed in the middle, but oddly some of the fancier ‘twirled around the lamp post lights’ are all down tiny side streets were you don’t see them when passing through. The fish and chips were excellent, but it was a terribly long wait to get them! Poor MrWW valiantly queued.
Today we have the fire lit and don’t plan on doing anything 😁

Merry Christmas friends. I hope you have all had wonderful days.
Everything went well here apart from my Yorkshire puddings pancaked! I have no idea why as it’s a tried and tested recipe. Anyhow, they went out to the birds and some aunt Bessie’s were quickly thrown in. We have enough leftovers to feed an army. We are in a food coma on the couch with a fire going. 

We watched the first ever Kings speech of our lifetime. The queen’s speech always felt like such a waste of my time when I was young, but now it feels quite patriotic. We are on Aladdin now, so it’s not all highbrow 🤣
I’ve received quite a few Amazon vouchers, among other things, and they make me very happy as it’s an opportunity to save money I would normally spend 😊

Happy Christmas. Sounds like you’ve had a lovely day. DD and I went to my parents which we weren’t sure we’d be able to do at the start of the week as I was Covid positive but luckily I tested negative a day or 2 ago and no one else got it so it was back to plan A with a family Christmas 🎅🏻. We also watched the Kings speech it was very moving and the start of a new era. I loved Aladdin and have just watched Call the Midwife. Looking forward to the new series of that starting. I’ve got enough chocolate to keep me going for a while and a few bottles of Prosecco so all in all a pretty good day. Enjoy your left overs xx

Happy Boxing Day everyone 🎄
I too am looking forward to Call the Midwife. I really can’t do with any medical dramas, but love this so much. All the history is so interesting (even though we are creeping fast towards our lifetime as we’ve just hit MrWW’s year of birth) and the characters are excellent. We were so pleased Trixie got engaged. 

Ghost’s Christmas special was lovely too. I did like the panto.
I’m so glad you tested negative @southern_chick and could go visiting. Chocolate and Prosecco sounds perfect. 

I’m not sure what today will hold,  yet it will be full of leftovers 😬

Pleased you're having a restful time and good food!! Today I've been to a panto and then an Italian restaurant, the show was very entertaining and food excellent so a good day has been had!
