Happy Tuesday WW, so good to hear from you, glad you're ok. We've been known to have curry on Christmas Day, none of us are bothered about traditional Christmas food. This year I'm making myself a nut roast, Mr SA is having beef and DD is having chicken.
Lovely to hear from you SA. What did you think of strictly? I liked all the finalists, so whoever won wasn’t a problem for me this time. That Christmas lunch sounds perfect…I could really fancy a nut roast! Sadly I’ll be spending hours and hours making the full Christmas feast, but it will save me from destroying the hopes and dreams of MrWW, so I guess it’s worth it, ha ha.
I thought all the finalists were brilliant so it was a great final. Sad it’s over though.

Gosh @Four_Seasons I’m so sorry to hear that.

  • That sounds tough @Four_Seasons. I hope you manage to get the best Christmas you can.
We’ve had the decs up since the first Saturday in December…it’s the law! I love the idea of experiences, but we are always hampered by what experiences would work for us. MrWW is pretty much a year round hibernator and I can’t leave the pets for long.
I’m feeling quite fat and sluggish right now so will have to get my act together before I explode. It’s a difficult time of year with the planned feasts and goodies. I won’t need to purchase chocolates for 6 months if I’m sensible 😅

  • Thank you ww, beanielou and sun addict. My partner (a farmer) is quite happy to stay at home and look after the pets so it works ok although I always take my little dog on holiday with me. When do you finish work for Christmas and how long holiday have you got?
  • Happy Wednesday and happy last day of work for me 🤣🎄🎅🏻
I will be off until the 4th January. I expect in a few days I’ll be wishing I was at work. I have a bad habit of wanting to be wherever I’m not! It’s a problem, I know. Obviously as it’s a last day, all of the work things are coming to bite me and I can’t roll them over to tomorrow, so I think today will be quite fraught.
How are you all doing? Have you all got plenty of time off?
MrWW has suddenly remembered he needs to wrap my presents, so has shut himself into the dining room 🎅🏻
