  • Laughing at dog, how rude of him 🤣 Reminds me of years ago at work when I collected some important visitors for a serious meeting. I was showing them to the meeting room which was unfortunately right beside a toilet. The occupant of the toilet let out the loudest fart, it was so embarrassing.

Smellproof, or at the very least have an external window in my opinion.

Thought I would stop by and say "hi". Your situation at the start of your diary sounds very much like mine is now. The ends are meeting, but borrowing from savings and paying it back every month feels all wrong. :)

Hi @KeepOnKnitting, it’s so hard isn’t it? I do find saving as much as possible on payday and then taking some back if I need to works better than saving what’s left at the end. If I leave it in my main account it feels like it’s spendable and it’s much easier for me to treat as available. At least moving it away and moving it back for an emergency makes you think twice about what you are using it for and why. Last month I got very frustrated at having to take a large chunk back for the car repair, but then when I did my month end round up I realised I had still moved forward (just a smaller amount) and that the money did it’s job, it saved me from debt and was there when I needed it. I promise you it does get easier and you will do great! My most recent game changer was managing to separate my pots from my savings, so when I use one for a planned expense it doesn’t look like I’ve gone backwards in the savings. It took a fair while to get to that point though!

  • Good morning and happy Tuesday ☕️🧁
It’s a bit damp out there today. I won the lottery last night….£5. I’d put £5 on, on Saturday, so I got my money back. But I’ve just reinvested it for tonight. Fingers crossed. I don’t often do the lottery, it’s more of a once a blue moon thing, as it’s really just throwing money away, with a vague hope of the millions.
Work today as usual so I’d better get back to it. I hope you all have a tremendous Tuesday filled with good luck and happiness ☕️🍫🧁📚

  • Good morning and happy Wednesday ☕️🧁🍫📚
fajitas and chips were all cooked in the ninja yesterday and it was very successful 😁 I promise to use it today too! I left the chicken in a tad too long on air fryer mode and it was a little chargrilled on the outside like a bbq kebab, but still nice and soft inside. I think I just need to take it out a little bit sooner. I’d checked on a piece and it was a little rubbery, that cooked through, but not quite soft stage and I thought a few more minutes, but obviously it’s faster than that!
I spent money yesterday, but just on a sponsor/ charity donation for a friend and a get well chocolate bar for an auntie. I did the Amazon hack of sending the bar with a gift message, which is cheaper than a card and postage and definitely cheaper than a gift. I am slowly learning to hoard my resources without being mean. I have £8 left of this weeks money, so don’t want to spend again until my weekend reset.
I have a large and chonky cat laid out in front of my keyboard like a furry wrist rest and a large dog snoring on my foot….I never work alone 😬
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday filled with all good things ☕️📚🍫

    Ooh I love halloumi 😋
I didn’t use the recipe as I didn’t get the shopping in line, I just used a smoky fajita packet mix from MrT. I must try the real thing now it’s recommended 😁

The recipe is in the instruction book and works really well , also really healthy

I did coated chicken at the weekend , attempted the potato chip version and failed terribly so bought a tubof breadcrumbs from HB but mixed in some paprika ,pepper , onion and garlic granules , gave it an egg wash and then coated , took about 8 minutes

We had that in wrap with the halloumi , red onion , lettuce and sweet chilli sauce

    It was amazing
  • That sounds so good @efes_shareholder. I have done the cornflake version of coated chicken before. That works well and is so basic, either egg or Mayo to coat the chicken and then roll in smashed up cornflakes. I’ve not tried it in the air fryer, but I’m sure it would work the same. Sometimes I’ve used plain Mayo and sometimes spicy Mayo.
