I would love a rescue donkey...but I don’t think the cats would approve 😁 Have you seen Arnold Schwarzenegger’s pony and donkey on Facebook? They go in the house and are so lovely!Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
CRANKY40 said:The late MrC was actually ok at house stuff if you didn't count the 4 months out of 7 away at sea. I used to write a list each day of house jobs and ask him which ones he wanted to do. I did sleep nearest to the bedroom door though so I didn't have to tell him off for leaving clothes and/or a pile of junk on the floor round his side of the bed. Just as he was beginning to get on my nerves he went back to sea. It was a fabulous way to live.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1205

Haha, yes...him coming off shifts was hard at first, then moving to working from home even harder. Before that I had the house to myself at least during the day while I worked..it was lovely and quiet. Now I’m expected to make lunch every single day 😫Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Happy Friday everyone, we are here at last 🤩
I’m never quite sure why I get excited about Fridays as it’s still a work day, not a pay day and nothing different happens after work, but there it is, somehow it still feels better 😁
I got a bit spendy yesterday ordering birthday cards, soap, face cream and general frittering, so today I am declaring no spend day 6. I need a lot more of these now 🙄. I am aiming for 15 again, but my bank account says make it 30 😬 (sorry pots) 😬
The possible inheritance may come in next week, but although it’s preying on my mind I still daren’t count on it until it arrives. I have paid things off and done the virtual money shuffle a thousand times already...it’s a bit like those ‘what would I do if I won the lottery’ dreams on a much smaller scale..I always disagree with MrWW about that...I want to help everyone out with generous amounts and he wants to hoard all the winnings for himself 🤣 we usually have to split it down the middle so I can share my millions and he can spend his 🤣 We must be the only people who bicker about millions we haven’t even won 😁
I am reading the fifth Fox & O’Hare book, the Pursuit. I think that’s about number 45 this yr, I shall have to check my list. I’m on track to beat the last 2 years of reading...welcome to my fast paced life!
I hope you all have a wonderful Friday, that your workloads are low and your partners/children/pets behave ⭐️🌺🌸Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

For what it's worth I'd share if won a lot of money too. Fingers crossed for the possble inheritance. If you're trying to work out what to pay it's probably a good idea to make a sensible list on paper some time soon. I'd factor in a treat for yourself too, just because you can.2

My loans are both smaller now, the biggest just over a year to go and the smallest ends this year, so I will be able to wipe them out and have a little to start a proper EF. It has been discussed and offered, but I really won’t feel it until I physically have it. I would swap it gladly to have my dad back, but it is what it is and I don’t want him haunting me over any bad decisions 👻 I do plan on a treat for both me and MrWW so we have something nice.
