Happy Saturday everyone. I hope you are all having a great weekend.
We went out for the Lidl food shop and some hanging baskets. We had to get the sad plastic kind as nowhere here had the nice big wire baskets 😕 I do miss proper garden centres! It was a no spend day for me today, so that was nice. We did get some petunias to add around the pots we have outside, so I’m digging dirt out of my nails now. We planted out the sunflowers yesterday. We’d grown them from seed, so are hoping they survive the change to outdoors…I’d love them to flower.  I’m also growing some poppies from seed, but they are microscopic at the moment.

Once the flowers have grown over the top you won’t notice the container is plastic and you could always reuse it next year.

Happy Sunday. It’s gloriously sunny and warm today here 🌞
I took dog for her drive and filled up with diesel, I was at 3/4’s and it’s still cost £37 to fill…😕 Half a tank is my empty 🤣
Then I walked to the post box and sat outside with dog for a while. I’ve no idea what to do next! 

I’m really not looking forward to a full week at work 😕

The weather is dire here today, not stopped raining since first thing 🙁 I feel like we’ve been cheated out of a bank holiday Monday. I know we had Thursday and Friday but I like Mondays off 😆

Half a tank is empty for me too.  DH is the opposite.  We went out for the day in my car the other week, and when we got back the light was on.  By the time I went to fill it up, the light was flashing.  I was having kittens - that's far too much stress for me

Oh no, that’s rubbish. We don’t normally get the sun while everyone else has bad weather. It’s cracking the flags here. 

I agree, we need a bank holiday Monday too!

Same here, MrWW would happily coast into town on fumes in his…I’m trying to train him to keep it topped up now he has his new one. It’s hard explaining that the top ups cost the same if you fill up from half way as if you run it to empty and then only put half a tank in 🙄 The only difference is you don’t run the risk of being caught short in an emergency. I haven’t seen my flashing fuel light since the day I brought it home, I’d be having kittens too 😅

I don't like our car going below 100 mile range remaining, which is just over a round trip to OH's parents, this allows us to be able drop everything and go if there was an emergency.
