Good morning and happy Tuesday 🌞📚☕️

Well I got through Monday, so that’s good 😁 MrWW came home early from his night shift feeling grotty with a cough which mysteriously disappeared after he’d had tea and taken over my tv viewing 🤨 He’s happily sleeping now while I’m at work and is off for the rest of the week.
I have lost almost 2lbs…definitely a drop in the ocean, but at least something is happening. My official weigh day is Saturday, so it had better not go back on!

You are doing really well with money and healthy eating  I am trying to eat better too as i weighed myself and have put on 2lbs - do you want them back

Oh I thought it was WW's 2lbs that I have gained, please WW send me some of your determination for my diet am going to my granddaughters wedding in the summer and just dread spending the day hiding from the photographer I take a lousy photo at the best of times but at the moment look like Mr. Blobby x

Lucky Mr WW, I sometimes wish I was poorly so I can get a week in bed. I know it's silly and I don't really want to be poorly, I just want some rest.

@jokono yesterday was his last shift, so he’s officially off this week, but I know just what you mean. I daren’t be off sick and haven’t had a sick day for about 15 years….I’d rather die quietly at my desk or book a leave day 😬 I agree, I don’t want to be poorly (or pretend poorly) I just want days off 🤣
I think it will be a long time before any ‘poundage’ is noticeably lost 😖

Be careful what you wish for. 5 years ago I thought I wouldn’t mind some time off with my feet up. My OH ran me over on his mobility scooter and broke my ankle in two places. Did I get a rest - afraid not. It’s surprising what you can still do with one leg!

Good morning and happy Wednesday 📚☕️🌞
I woke up thinking it was Tuesday so that was a win 🤭
Yesterday I made beef and bean sw hotpot, mostly in the slow cooker. MrWW peeled and sliced the potatoes while I was still working, so it was just a case of transferring to a dish and layering the potatoes for the oven. It was very nice…MrWW commented on the excellence of the potatoes which were apparently sliced just right 🤣
Today is just work as usual and lots of it 😕
