Thanks everyone. She was carrying a big stone…they are her favourite things to retrieve in the whole world. When she was fitter I’d take her to the beach every day and she wouldn’t walk home without a big stone…so we have a huge pile for her to select from as she goes into the garden 😁
I went to the beach today without her, just so I could get some steps in. MrWW isn’t keen on a walk so I went on my own, but bumped into a lovely dog walking neighbour I haven’t seen since before lock down, so I had a lovely chat too…and am at 6800 steps. I sometimes only make 3k so I’m quite happy with that.

Ours always carried his dinner bowl on the off chance that someone would pop something edible into it. A sort of furry version of Oliver Twist. His food bowl was an old metal fruit bowl because the plastic dishes that we bought were just chewed to bits after he'd finished his dinner.

@CRANKY40 that’s so sweet…I bet his dish was never empty. mine has a cereal bowl from my set 😁 she has a big dog water dish, but her meals are little and often, alongside us. She’s a people! We tried her with big bowls of dog biscuits and she was having non of it and trained us. She’ll have some biscuits garnished with a bit of something we’re having, or some dog meat if it’s something she can’t have.
