It's soul destroying isn't it!  But well done on the half pound, it's still heading the right way :)

    Thanks everyone.
    it really is @jwil
thanks @joedenise. The cheat meal wasn’t huge, but definitely not low fat. a beef and spiced onion ring baguette and chips. I ate half the baguette, brought the meat home from the other half for dog, maybe two thirds of the chips (not a massive portion) and a small side salad. When I lost before we always had Saturday lunch off, but maybe I need to reduce my portion sizes a bit throughout the week. Free food does still have a calorie content and I get a bit carried away with potatoes 😖 I think it took about 10 months to get to target last time 😢
I have spent money today, I ordered chicken bonios in bulk and new pillows…I know how to live 🤣 Still within my spending money budget though…just.

I listen to the very funny podcast The Secret World of Slimming Clubs and it seems a lot of people go to SW for the weigh in but do calorie counting. When I got to goal with WW 20 years ago the only free food was vegetables. Now a lot of this so called free food is of the higher calorie variety like potatoes and pasta so if you’re a bit heavy handed with your measures how will you lose weight 🤷‍♀️ I always weigh my pasta, potatoes, etc to make sure the portion is a small one. I follow the Fitness Chef on Instagram and he slates anywhere that does “free” food.

That sounds like about 2 days or more's syns for lunch today!  Suggest you try to stick to about 6 or 7 syns a day for rest of the week!  Might give you half a chance of a better loss next week.

  • Woohoo I have finally caught up with your fabulous diary.

Hope your having a great weekend xx

Good afternoon and happy Sunday 🌧📚☕️
Oddly I lost 1.5 lb’s overnight…perhaps the chips were good for me 🤣 I’m so sad my weigh day wasn’t today!
I took dog for her drive and we admired the rain clouds over the sea, pootled behind camper vans at places and had a lovely clear run in others. Very nice. then we had a walk down the garden to look at the river (very low) and the trees.
I did a little bit of work on my (dolls) house yesterday, so may continue that. MrWW is all about F1 today zzzz.
I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend ☕️📚🧁🌞

At least you’ve got 1.5lbs in the bank for next Saturday 👍 You really shouldn’t weigh yourself every day though, once a week is plenty as fluid levels go up and down. Sounds like you had a lovely drive with the dog

Good morning and happy Monday 😢📚☕️
Work today and not much else planned. I did manage a bit of my house yesterday, but I’m not sure it’s very professional…I would sack the decorator 🤣 I still have lots to do…flowers in the window boxes, a trellis, some windows on the back…and then the inside 😧
I hope you all have a very happy Monday filled with happy thoughts 📚☕️🧁

Sounds like you had a lovely weekend!
The house will keep you busy for a while, good investment!

I used to weight myself daily, I'm a lot more careful with my meals when I do that, the ups and downs are normal and I got used to them. I used to log my weight in an app that showed me the trend as well, so as long as that was going down I knew I was on the right track.
