I feel a visit to the library is on the cards, I haven't been for a couple of months and I would hate it to close.£1 a day 2025: £90.00/365 Xmas fund2

Sorry to hear your neck is bothering you WW, such an annoying pain 😕
Great work on splitting the PB win, mostly useful plus a treat. How's the pocket money working out?2 -
Good morning and happy Wednesday 🌞📚☕️Almost at the half way point for the weekend!
@elbree the pocket money is sticking so far 😮 I have £20 left for this week and on Friday it resets. I even made £6.99 yesterday by cashing out on prolific. However, I am considering rejoining slimming world online as I just can’t get the momentum completely on my own and I’m starting to look suspiciously like a giant weeble 😢 I’ll have to check the prices and the ‘things I want’ pot to see what I have to work with.It was lovely and sunny when I took dog out, but it’s already clouding over and looking a bit grim.
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday filled with all the good things you deserve ☕️📚🍫🧁 As I believe it is mental health awareness week I will add this reminder…you are all doing fabulously and most importantly, the very best that you can. Everybody’s journey is different, but you are all doing amazingly in your own ways and I’m proud of you 👍Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Well I did the joining..to rejoin on line it was a bit cheaper than joining from scratch, so £45 for 3 months. I also ordered some skinny bars from my favourite online shop, for rather more than the bnm shop would charge, but easier and quicker than a trek over there. I took £40 from my things I want pot, so if I adjust my remaining weeks to £40 per week instead of £50 and don’t spend anything until Friday, that means I don’t touch any of my savings or locked pots. As it was a rejoin I had the joyous experience of putting on a lot of weight since my last weigh in…sigh. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning WW!
Right back at you - you are doing amazingly well! 🤗
While I am not a fan of paying for weight loss (not eating is free 😆) I think you should do it if you know it will work for you.
I had a quick look and I can see it starts at £60 for three months, you could use the £20 you have left already for the first month and start a SW neutral fund like @EssexHebrideanhas for the gym. Any extra money you make from surveys/weekly savings etc go towards the membership.

That being said, I did pay about £70 last year for the Fast800! 🤣🤣
I did 5:2 for years for the price of a couple of second hand books and I wanted to get more inspiration, especially when they came up with the '2 meals a day' veggie plan. Not sure it was worth that much, as I didn't do the meditation and exercise included in the plan.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

Good luck with the weight loss WW. You’re doing great as well. Thanks for the reminder that everyone else is 🥰🥰 xxslowly working towards being MF one small over payment at a time :T1

@jokono I agree, it’s mad to pay to eat less, but I tried on my own and just lose the will without accountability. Hopefully 3 months will be enough to crack it.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning and happy Thursday 📚☕️🍫
After a spendy day yesterday I plan for no spending today. I didn’t sleep very well, but think it’s probably part of the detox process of not enough processed food and sugar 😧
Work today and will try and squeeze in some movement. It’s all a bit boring and work and bed right now.
I hope you all have a tremendous Thursday full of sunshine and happiness 🌞📚☕️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

We could do with our own food/diet diary here. I have always said that for some of us the eating is linked to the other personality traits such as impulsiveness, anxiety etc that have caused us to also be in debt. Maybe that's just my sister and I but I feel sure there's a connection. I've always overbought food - our freezer is usually full to the brim and in the big house I had an American fridge freezer and a chest freezer. I do like to cook but there are two of us here on a permanent basis (plus a few "passers through") and when we went into the first lockdown it was 3 weeks before I had to go near a shop.
Do you grow things WW? Buy some sunflower seeds and a few little pots. You can dig some soil from the garden to plant them in and then watch them grow while you're working. If you plant three you can have a competition with Mr WW and Miss Dog. We have a competition every year so I'm not being patronising - there is also a fair bit of label swapping and cheating 😁3
