Mine loves a good roll. Normally the dirt and mud will just rub off, but when she gets a bit too doggy smelling I’ll give her a scrub…not as regular as I should, but it often feels like a waste of effort when she’s upside down in the dirt 5 seconds after a lovely bath. My cats also savage everything 😣

Good morning and happy Sunday 🌞☕️📚🍫
It’s quite warm out there today….I took dog for her drive without putting my coat on!! I do have a jumper on, but that was enough. Normally in the car each week dog and I have our money chat…which is mainly me berating myself for all the stupid frittering and dog ignoring me and sniffing sniffs from her open window. Today I had nothing to say about money, I’ve not stepped out of line. It was so boring I’m wondering if I need a new vice? Not alcohol as I can only manage one wine and I’ve had quite enough…but I really don’t know what to do with myself! It’s all just work or tiptoeing around the house when MrWW is on shifts. I eat way too much already so 24hr eating isn’t a good way to go. I can’t walk without dog or she’ll make a fuss when I’m gone, but I can’t walk with her as she’s done with all that. maybe I’ll have a go on the exercise bike!

Hey WW!
Tricky with the doggy, maybe you could put the exercise bike in front of netflix or iplayer or something to make it less boring? I figure any movement is better than none, so even 10 minutes on the easiest gear would be good.

It's really sunny here too, I'm enjoying a small pot of chocolate haagen dazs in the garden. I might enjoy a salted caramel one after this 😃

Ooh haagen dazs 😋 I sometimes get the mini pots if they are on offer, but sadly none in right now.
I spent today and ordered some hanging basket brackets which MrWW will put up on the side of the house. They were pricey compared to plain ones, but these have black cats dancing along the top! I chose one standing and one sitting. They will look traditional yet fancier 🙂 MrWW offered, but I’ve got these and he will pay for the actual flower baskets. They were £35 each, but so different. I had allocated money for a meal out this month, so have used that and £20 from this weeks money. So, some lovely things for the house which will make me happy to look at and no overspending. All savings and pots still in tact.

What kind of dog do you have, WW? Mine hates having a bath or shower - he’s a real placid thing usually but he turns into a slippery eel when I try!

The hanging baskets sound lovely, hope that they bring you lots of joy!

A Labrador. What do you have? I started her very young by going into the shower cubicle with her and making it a fun game. The one thing my girl never mastered was walking to heel, she is very strong and would take me for a gallop 😬

Oh, gorgeous, love Labs! Mine is a Bedlington. He’s a soppy thing, not a fan of water or swimming though. I tried your technique but it never took off 😆 I have some combing spray that I use when I brush him and basically just suck up the cost to have him properly groomed every couple of months. Yours sounds beautiful and like she keeps you pretty fit 😆

Ah, they look like little old men! So cute. mine is an old lady now and quite limpy so we just play in the garden, rather than walks. It’s quite big, so she just ambles around, digs and rolls and we can make it back into the house when she’s had enough.

I reckon you should get on your exercise bike and visit us lot!!! We could tell you where abouts  we live, you could work a map out to accommodate us all on a round robin trip (you don't want to keep going back on yourself) I bet you'd visit all over GB, take a boat to USA etc and have a great time whilst getting your excerise!!!!

That’s a wonderful idea, I’m at the bottom right hand corner of the UK, I’ll put the kettle on!
