@southern_chick I work in the public sector and the Govt has no problem saying we are not getting a pay rise - or if we are, it's a miserly one!

Thanks for all the suggestions about what i can get with my payrise - I've got a craving for a chunky kitkat now (but my local c00p is sadly shut now)

Good morning and happy Saturday ☕️🍫📚🧁
I finally finished my epic book and can get started on one of my pre-orders. It’s a new series by the lady who writes the Stephanie Plum novels, so I’m looking forward to inhaling an easy read. 

MrWW was on nights so I will have a quiet morning. 

I’m itching for pay day, but can’t really do any sorting until then, but it does look as though I might finish with a bit more saved than I’d though, despite the expensive present buying. I haven’t spent anything for a week I don’t think and have kicked another £5 to the mortgage. I do hope my new leaf is going to hold!

Thanks southern…it’s called the recovery agent. I’ve liked all her series's so far. (Series’s looks so wrong, maybe it’s series’ 🤷🏻‍♀️), even the collaborations, so I have high hopes for this one.

Evening WW and friends
I have been for a walk with a friend down to the river and back, then walked to the hairdressers and back - 16k steps altogether This eve i've been dusting and hoovering my bedroom and putting some stuff back in there following my epic declutter and furniture move last weekend.
I'm reading an Elly Griffiths book from the library - crime and archaeology on the north Norfolk coast
