  • I have just found ‘Marissa- A to Zen life’ which is quite entertaining. She had a massive start though by selling her parents possessions (they died, she didn’t just pinch them 😬).

    🤣
I shall have a search for her thanks.
In turn I recommend rainbow budgets. Lovely bright stationery and just starting out on her journey

Just work today and limping along until Monday and payday.
I was watching YouTube of under the median that I’d seen someone recommend. They don’t offer any amazing tips and I still don’t get how they paid their mortgage in 5 years, but they are fun to watch. Such a nice couple. Very American though, we don’t seem to have any British equivalents.
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday full of happiness and money saving 📚☕️🍫🌸
    Morning WW and chums.
I like hope and Larry from under the median. As you say no mind blowing tips but very watchable and useful as a reminder that you have to budget on what you have.
Yep, I like them too.  And it is good basic stuff - so really useful to touch base with.

Good morning and happy Thursday ☕️☕️☕️☕️📚🍫
Pay day on Monday and it’s about this time I do my the good, the bad and the ugly…but looking at my spreadsheets they are just shouting ugly, ugly, ugly! So I can kind of say the good is a £500 increase in my pb’s, but then a larger decrease in my accessible spending kind of put a damper on that! My mortgage overpayments were about £40 in total and I didn’t touch my pots apart from the Christmas pot, which the total on my signature is wrong for at the moment, but it’s written into my March budget to pay it back! So really despite a few expected spends and a few unexpected spends February was a 🤦🏻‍♀️ month!
Anyway, onwards and upwards. It looks like I have a pattern, a good saving month or two and then a paddy, so keeping to the pattern means March will be saintly! I have written in £200 of spends, so there is no excuse!
I actually think MrWW being on shifts has left me unsupervised for some long days and evenings which may have thrown me off the rails…I need to be a grown up even when I’m on my own!
So anyway, enough moaning from me…how are you all doing? Tell me what exciting things you have planned.
How were the eggs beanie? How was your long trip Deni? Thank you everyone for stopping by…please do feel free to tell me off 😁
I hope you all have wonderful Thursdays…dog says to tell you we have a tiny covering of snow and she did face slides 🐶🍫☕️📚

Morning! Horrific weather here on South Coast, rainy, windy, cold - sigh. Have also had a bad month spending from 'my' pot - I need to get a figure in mind and then leave it there I think, so I can stop feeling guilty? Hanging on for payday on Monday! Will have to eat from stores except for cooking a roast for friends on Sunday so must buy food for that. Think I can make it.

Also sad about Ukraine, have found news upsetting this morning. Not helped by 8yo being sad on phone yesterday evening, with her dad. I could hear him being impatient with her and see her little sad face but couldn't do anything to help. I sent him a text later pointing out that he was very snappy with her. Needless to say he did not respond to my interfering!
Sorry for the depressing post! I'm going out to see a friend tonight - that's more cheery. Loved the sound of the dog face slides too! 😂
  • Morning WW. Nothing exciting planned here even though it's payday. Work then home. I have Niknaks for later nice and spicy flavour and the last of my homemade chocolate cake in my work pack up.
Hello dog 🐕 I hope your nice and cosy now not out in that nasty snow ❄️❄️
