I married a compliance law specialist in the insurance industry who is now an astrophotographer.

I've done my transfer to PB's. Upto £400 now. Feeling happy with this as it's a case of out of sight out of mind and I'm less likely to touch it.5 -

I have around £16 left from Tilly tidies so when I've done some more next month will be able to add another £25.00.

Me too. I’m shuffling a set amount each month, even if that means savings reduce in other categories to cover it. I like them there as it’s somewhere I won’t mess about dipping into unless there’s a huge disaster. I’ve upped my target from £4k to £10k, which is hugely ambitious and unattainable right now 😬 Did you watch call the midwife last night? I took my father with me to get my mortgage. He was already guarantor for my aunt (who earned more than him), so he suggested coming along as soon as mentioned. Thank goodness the world has almost moved on from that
