Good morning and happy Sunday 📚☕️🎉
yesterday most of the plan went to plan, but I can’t find the hoopy attachment for the machine embroidery! I turned the room upside down…I fear the pixies have taken it 😖
MrWW took dog for a quick wee at 6am so she’d sleep in a bit….it worked, she is sleeping, but the clattering about woke me up so I’m still wide awake ☹️ If only I could have trained him to also bring coffee!
The wind seems quieter this morning, I can’t hear it gusting. I had to bring the door wreath in yesterday as it blew off and a few tree branches seem to be down. The pressy bit on the hot water tap fell off yesterday, it’s still usable, but doesn’t look great. That make isn’t available now so I’m hoping we can change the tap without switching the tank, or it willl be about £1500 to replace 😭
if the weather isn’t wild I will take dog for her drive before MrT comes.
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday 📚📚📚
Edit…even if we have to replace the whole unit, hot water taps are much cheaper than MrWW was telling me yesterday..I think he was looking at the solid gold option 🙄 why does he do that? Looking for myself I think worst ways it’s more like £500 plus fitting. Still not great, but better! Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

@WinterWarrior £500 plus seems extortionate. For some reason, that reminds me of being turned down for a mortgage in the 1970s. "After all, my dear, you might marry a plumber!"

@Scottiedog_3 well I did immediately think you must have looked like a bit of a trollop with your come hither plumber ways at the bank 🤣🤣🤣🤣 who on earth would consider a ‘ladies’ mortgage application in the 70’s based on income! It’s hard enough now. My last garage visit, the chap asked MrWW over my head about an expensive job I was paying for on my car 🙄 It drives me bonkers! Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
